What rune and sigils do you prefer on S/D?
Infiltration rune and exploitation and opportunity were my favorite initially for max damage. After I was told vampirism or holosmith for more vitality would be better. Always exploitation and second can be preference. Shortbow = energy cleanse always.
Shorts, what do you think about the Bladesworns? Some say it is a lowkey op class. Do you agree?
Frustrating class, maybe the most bugged class in the game.
Yes. I think it has some really stupid designs that and fundamentally broken mechanics.
Ammo skills are stupid for every spec.
The Perma reflect big on aegis on blocks is absolutely oppressive to projectile based specs.
Those are the only two things I would say are OP. The damage and sustain is really high stat wise. It just mechanically isn’t as clean a design and can be very clunky buggy.

@@scullyy its not bugged at all ur just bad player, its pretty balanced, but must be played with tanky stats
I been maining thief for like full time games been out T.T we have had our ups and downs but i recently came back to the game after patch and have been trying to make use of the new weapon combo options but sadly none seem beneficial than just standard thief classic weapon choices. By that i mean i tried rifle /staff on dead eye, bound with d/p and s/p varient. But i always come back to the standard for the most part. Axe and staff just feel unviable weapon choices in pvp
Axe isn’t bad if you find the right build ambi been playin axe condi deadeye and actually farming people. He’s been doing very very well. Staff is bad and just shouldn’t be used IMO but I don’t like staff as a weapon it’s very boring and low skill requirement.
@shorts_gaming perhaps that's where I was failing with axe. A few have rolled my dead eye. I think I was focusing too heavily on trying to utilize it for dps compared to condi variant. But I've never favored condi thief personally just against other condi capable classes. But something I'll give a try after seeing this! I really like A/D and found it enjoyable. Just felt like the condi was getting cleansed faster than I could tick damage on certain classes
@@teegee9 for sure. Against some matchups a projectile weapon like axe is never going to be viable. For example like supports, ele, warrior. I think the best version I have seen was axe pistol condi thief.
@shorts_gaming I'll give it another try then. Thanks brother. Amazing videos. I've been watching to learn how to get better with my mesmer but this current meta is proving to be suicide with them lol

I don’t get how people do dmg with thief.. when I play thief I hit like a wet noodle and die. I just don’t get it how some one oneshots with thief.. even my stealth attacks only tickles them
Gotta pay more attention to vulnerability/protection/aegis and might/fury to maximize damage on your target. And time it with layered combos, assuming you are on the optimal build
