  • The Query Loop builder is available since version 1.3.7 for the Container, Accordion, and Slider element.
    It allows you to retrieve data from your database (according to your query parameters) and to render whatever content you want to show inside the loop (dynamic data). Helping you to create even more powerful WordPress sites with Bricks.
    You can query post types, taxonomy terms, and users. Some typically use cases are:
    - Posts: Latest posts, related posts (works for any registered & public post type)
    - Terms: Post categories & tags, product categories, etc.
    - Users: List blog authors, community members, team members, etc.

    Hello thanks for your awesome theme builder. Is it possible to make a loop with acf repeater as elementor can do ? ( the idea is to integrate a repetition of elements inside an article. And second question is it possible to assign a template to a specific type of single post ( other way than past shortcode template inside the wordpress post when it is created ) thanks

  • @choupiwenfly

    It was surprisingly good

    I've been using Elementor and am experimenting switching to Bricks, but I'm having real problems getting Blog posts to appear correctly.
    My Header template shows up everywhere but the Blog posts don't reflect the Single Post template.
    I'd love a full tutorial on just setting up a Blog and especially the use of Single Post and Archive templates.

    Can you display a ACF repeater field or Relationship field with the Query Loop ?

    • @bricksbuilder
      @bricksbuilder  Před 2 lety +4

      Not yet, but it's definitely on our mind. ACF repeater & relationships have already been submitted to bricksbuilder.io/ideas. Make sure to upvote it, so this requests gets more traction ;)

    Would you use Query Loop for a news aggregator so you can gor from feed to post? Thanks.

    How did one create those examples before there was the loop function? I mean, its not something new to have a slider or faq accordeon, latest posts etc. Now whats the benefit of the same with loops?
    Is custom field plugin a must have for using loops?

  • @tomashudolin7197

    And why the using of container is needed? Is not possible to use just a div?

    • @bricksbuilder
      @bricksbuilder  Před měsícem

      You can enable a query loop on any of the four layout elements (section, container, block, div). The section, block and div elements were added in Bricks 1.5, which was released after this video was recorded.

    finaly, we wait 1.3.8 and hope in 1.3.9 your team rewrite a code for theme and reduce more divs from DOM and we get clear code like in oxygen
