That 2nd QP goal shouldn’t have stood, clear foul
Though not shown here, Owen Coyle made a comment on BBC Scotland about the winning goal being scored in the 97th minute, when only 3 minutes were shown on the fourth official’s board. Perhaps Mr Coyle should watch the full portion of extra time, and see his players down on the pitch and the trainers on for more than 5 of those additional minutes.
Thistle deserved the win - if only just.
Have to say, "Groundsman of the Year" award should only have one nomination. Luca Brecel could have won the world snooker title playing on that. The Firhill pitch last spring also brought to mind visions of Belgium, as it resembled Paschendaele. Not having Queen's Park playing on it has done Partick Thistle a lot of good.
One of my favorite battles in football 4-3 and the same time Airdrieonians against Falkrik what a MATCH 6-2 many goals nice matches no doubt .
Well done Particht for doing over the Kingdarnleymurders ❤
doolan needs to stop playing mitchell, didn't save a shot on target the entire game, another issue with doolan is we get ahead, and he drops back into defense, but he plays defense in our half. tactics and sneddon could've secured a larger lead
Always backed sneddon since we had fox. Deserves more game time, always has and saved us a few games
now that's entertainment
If there was ever a game when u needed a scoreboard on the video it was this lol😂
When’s the other playoff highlights for lower leagues being released?
Go on the Jags! Great game!
David Mitchell brilliant keeper
(jag talking) absoloutely!! he is our best keeper and never lets a shot in, I mean the shots today were no where near him, not like they could've saved it !🤣
Stick last nights 2nd leg on, we tanned them this time.
GG
5:58 think he got a bit excited
I feel like that third goal Queen’s Park scored could of been saved
Had an awkward swerve and bounce right in front of the keeper. Deceptively really difficult to judge.
@@zanderiii Still should be saving it, poor effort.
The Patrick goalie was honking
Surprised there weren't more people there, then again most Scots are obsessed with Celtic and Rangers unfortunately
Отличный матч
Queens Park score three in two vital games and lose both. At least no-one can accuse them of not being entertaining.
Is the completely empty stand opposite the camera due for demolition or is it a safety risk?
It would have been opened if the away support was larger. Queen’s Park only brought 300 fans.
is Firhill going to pass ground standards for Premier league ?
Why wouldn’t it
We were only in the Prem five years ago
Jesus Christ you really know nothing about Scottish football. We were literally in the premiership 5 years ago and just before that top 6 finish… Firhill is a better ground than most in Scotland!
Firhill was a regular Premiership stadium for five years in the recent past, and has hosted matches under SFA and UEFA approval in recent years, so I think it would be fine.
yeah looks shocking i'd say northern premier league standard in England
I grew up in the 70s and 80s and Partick Thistle look better in black shorts but if they get promoted I suppose what difference does it make?@
sad to see a match of so importance neglected by the fans and the stadium fallen into disrepair
Let's be honest, both of these teams would get absolutely pumped by the likes of Wrexham and Notts County and other teams from the lowest tiers of English football.
Considering Wrexham have millionaire owners then yes.
Why are you even bringing english national league into it? If people supported smaller teams instead of the OF we wouldn't have this problem in Scotland
@@danielptfcs no such thing as the Old Firm. 🤷🏼♂️
Wrexham because there managers are multi-millionaires
Congratulations.
You win the Most Irrelevant and Useless Award for this outrageous commrnt. 🏆
Some crowd 🤣
And the stand behind the goal or should i say where is the stand
Why is most of the stadium empty???
Stupid camera work. They are based in the stand where all the people are ,totally clueless
Nah that’s only the away end
@@Ecosse9 the stand behind the goal has a seagull in it , and the stand opposite the camera virtually nobody
HOW many attempts on goal??? When you watch hi-lights of a 4-3 you expect almost every effort to go in - this could have been 12-11 either way!
I dont believe it, thats whar football is all about
Did Partick fans know their was a game on?
There is a cost of living crisis caused by the Tory scum, so that could be a reason for empty seats?
What fans 😂
There was more at that game than quite a lot of premiership clubs ffs 3,800. And plus these were two games we shouldn’t have had to be played if we’d have just beaten raith, more money for fans to splash out on games where season tickets don’t work.
@@ScotlandTheBrave_1 is that more than Ross County, St Johnstone etc?
@@bananahammock9119 yes, more than Ross county, St Johnstone, Livingston and comparable to Motherwell and killie when adjusted for away fans. That is impressive when considering the league we are currently in. When we were in the premiership we would be in the top 6 of attendances.
Posting these with no commentary, title screen, intro, time or score on screen is symptomatic of the rank amateurism of the SPFL. Literally, Penicuik post better highlights than you.
If Celtic are for catholics, Rangers for protestants, who is the fan base of these clubs two lesser known clubs from Glasgow?
Partick Thistle are for diehard atheists, while Queens Park are diehard agnostics. The rivalry is said to be extreme.....
If you come to Scotland you'll quickly learn that no other clubs here could care less about the political stuff except Rangers and Celtic.
@@archiesutherland1105 Hearts and Hibs at a thin stretch, but very thin.
@@ReeseJamPiece. Ye but it's not the whole fanbase
Partick Thistle and Queens Park are for those that consider themselves Scottish and living in the 21st century.
Quality is awful 😂😂😂
Name, age, nationality and team history, plz of Queens Park, midfielder#42?
Cant even fill there own stadium. No good in the prem
Most Premiership clubs can’t fill their own stadium with home fans. The only reason Firhill is the size it is (and the same for a few other stadiums in Scotland) is because of a ridiculous top flight capacity rule that used to exist, meaning in order to gain promotion a new stand had to be built.
The only teams in Scotland that can fill their ground ever game is hearts rangers and Celtic. No other team does it.
Scottish football starving.
Any know Age&nationalty of Queens Park, midfield player, No.42?
If queens Park #42, got fitter, faster? Some good things done by him,
