Mate, I was there. Got there Paola Nutini. He was amazing. Kasabian had the crowd absolutely lift. The F***ing In The Bushes kicked in.... the rest was history. Clocked the helicopter coming in too. Absolutely biblical.
Couldn’t have been better, it was perfect wasn’t it? 😁
Absolutely awesome gig. Shame the helicopter wasn’t announced by Kasabian… would have been ace for LG to have the crowd looking up and cheering him.

I was at the 2nd night (originally the 1st) It's now 2 days after and I feel like only now am I landing back on planet earth. John Squire sharing the stage at the end was a complete surprise to me and probably the highlight of my life so far. I can't even explain what was going through my head during champagne supernova. First time I've had tears in my eyes for fuckin years man. I walked away with some very special people feeling on top of the world, yet somewhat deflated, with the realisation that the best day of my life was over...
I completely get where you’re coming from here! I’ve not been able to stop thinking about it and wondering how anything can ever top this moment. We just have to remember how lucky we were to be a part of history, and we can remember and talk about it for years to come! Luckily, I’m seeing LG in two weeks time in Portugal at Rock in Rio!

Yes I’ve been quite deflated ever since Saturday. Wishing I can do it all over again. Best day of my life spent with family I adore. Just can’t beat it.
it was the top of the world indeed mate. Longed for a long time to have been in such a special historical event as 1996 Knebworth, Maine Road, etc... and somehow I was there now in 2022! living in Italy and coming to UK just for this. I'm so glad you experienced all these feelings and sensations man, keep it mad.
Ps: the fact that it was expected rain during the whole Saturday and at the end not a single drop came down just made it more magical!
I went on Saturday and it was incredible. Went to the Saturday for Oasis at Knebworth in 96 as a young lad but honestly this was at least on par. Don’t get better than this really so just appreciate it you were there and keep supporting the bands you love. These are the special moments and hard to replicate.

Like many people the appeal of Liam has always gone straight over my head - however - as the comments below prove that three decades on he still has the power to touch peoples hearts, inspire loyalty and devotion and for that I applaud him.

I was 1st night, when the stone roses started - the anticipation was absolutely mental. Also got to add that stone roses are amazing.
I’m a 50yro living in Australia, I used to follow Oasis around in the 90’s was there in 96, love Liam to death.You can’t beat England on nights like this,

That's was great back in the day when you went to a class gig like that and then had to wait for the release of any footage. @@upcomingbandsofficial it was a different feeling with the crowd and everyone- probably me as well - I’m 53 now and it really did feel like we were part of history while this was a great gig just didn’t have that feeling but as I say just how it felt to me but I’m sure that’s how you felt on Saturday

100%, I know you said you went second night, but crowd was class, not sure where people were to think it was bad, could’ve potentially been louder but was far from bad or even average. Atmosphere was electric!

Mate second night attendance consisted of the original mad people who made the instant sold-out, after this the second night (which was actually the first, friday) was "created" so I think it makes sense the people on the second night was madder fer it. I'm so glad I was there! Lovely atmosphere
