Definitely the best log I’ve ever seen on your videos. That black walnut must be priceless. I know what a rifle stock blank of that quality is worth.

I have (just) the one soprano ukulele and two guitars made from either black or pacific walnut. Not only is the tonewood beautiful but, the tone (sound) is too .!!

I don't know why but I really like watching the way you saw these loges. Interesting!

I dont see a reason for him supporting the slab before it falls. if it peels away a bit there's no harm done. This is a classic example of people in the work force giving themselfs more work as a sense of pride or maybe even feeling obligated to

Would a metal detector trace buried metal such as nails? And are all industrial bandsaw blades sharpened on a rotating jig?

The author's comment says "It is a state of sawing black walnut. There were nails in the tree.".

Wish you would have shown one cleaned off and wet down to show the color and grain. Beautiful wood. Thanks.

It would be interesting to see what is made from that log. One end of it has much very big figure.

I like watching you sawing the logs of mist of your videos. Are those for live edge tables top? What is the thickness you cut?

@@ysasada18 So the black walnut was shipped to you and you milled it. Then are you selling it? Sure would like to get hands some , but I more then likely can't afford it. By the way I live in the Philippines Sir.
