@@thisnamewastaken413 cutting chicken, 30 seconds. cutting vegetables, 4-5 minutes at most. cooking chicken, 5 minutes or less. making the sauce, a couple minutes if rushed with the aid of a food processor. assembling, 30 seconds? and doing the dishes would take a maximum of 5 minutes. now the best thing is, you can multitask to save even more time, because that's what I end up having to do. doing dishes as you use them, prepping the vegetables as the chicken cooks and then doing clean up and sauce making while that comes together. definitely possible.
@@dearmarie784 also if you're planning on cooking chicken the next morning, or at any point in your day, just make a point to transfer the chicken from the freezer to the fridge. what I do is, take all my chicken out, slice them to my preference and put them in a marinade that I separate into batches. i take one batch/container and I put it in the fridge, and the rest go in the freezer. this incentivises me to actually make chicken before it goes bad, and I always have some ready to cook, tenderised and flavourful by default thanks to the marinade that gets plenty of time to penetrate. doesn't go bad nearly as quick as you think, as long as your fridge works fine and your containers are good.
