Join me in the hunt for a couple of diesel electric submarines using the new DOT Mod! Currently in beta she is still being worked on, but nonetheless presented a great first impression.
I am driving a remodeled Trafalgar class SSN, designed by "TheHappyYachter" who has provided quite the face lift. Bravo Zulu!

hey good vid man.only thing i would say is drop the backround music volume down alittle to keep every thing else audible.
That is a never ending battle of mine 😂. I’d say I get it right about 60% of the time!

Great to see the Trafalgar, though a note to the mod auther would be that Traf had a propellor fitted (as all first of class did) and not a propulsor.
Indeed shipmate! The submarine is randomly selected at the start of a mission, so it’s more likely you will get anything except HMS Trafalgar - but all the submarines of the same class have a singular model.
They could make a nerfed “first of class” option to get around that!
I was the one that built the model, the parts are in there for both pump jet and prop but we’ve not got a way to do a conditional show/hide based on the vessel name at present.

Please make DOTmod available via the steam workshop. For some reason many people can not make it work otherwise.

You style seems more aggressive than Aaron from sub brief, but he does say that British captains are aggressive...
Hah! Maybe the effects of playing 68 campaign recently are yet to wear off entirely! It’s worth a gander if you enjoy an aggressive play style. I’ll be continuing to add more videos to that soon.
How you made all the Hud windows completely in one Screen

is this sub better than the other starting subs in DotMod? can you aquire new subs during the campaign in the nato campaign or only in the soviet one?
The last time I played the dynamic campaign with upgradable subs was on the Russian side. That may have changed now..
The trafalgar class has multiple variants - in the 84 / royal navy campaign she is considerably more challenging than many other starting boats! You will be cursed with the tiger fish and find hitting enemies a bit of a mission.
Fast forward to the 2000s variant (single missions and South China Sea) and it gets far easier since the primary torpedo is upgraded to the Spearfish! Plus better sonar. Hope this helps :)
Oh but I should also add: you can often out dive some of the enemy weapons! Knowing what your up against will help you immensely!
What happend to HMS Valiant in Epic mod?
Make no mistakes I have backed up the saves and she is still live! Waiting for when I have more time to resume normal service (hence the delays, passion has not left at all - only free time took a dive 😇)

Will you play a 1984 campain here with the infamous HMS Conqueror for example. That would be really cool to watch. I bet if there was a 1982 South Atlantic campain here you would have sunk the entire Argentine Navy all by your self ;) I heard the book Sink the Belgrano about HMS Conqueror is really good.

I have no issue with playing in 1984! However I will need to return to 1968 prior to that - game in progress and all that. Getting back to the 80s will be a relief I dare say; the Mark20s is agony 😂
I appear to have killed the Epic Mod version of the Valiant campaign! But don't worry, a new excursion will begin soon. (I may be using the new DOT mod T class since the textures have been updated AGAIN and she looks incredible).
So nothing about how to install the mod ... fail.
That’s multiple versions ago, and it has changed a bit.
I’m not doing a mod install video, it’s changes quicker than is reasonable (it was early access really) Come over to the discord if you are have having snags. It uses JSGME and is fairly simple, the mod comes with instructions too.
