- Hill Farm CL is between Ipswich and Lowestoft on the A12. It has 4 hard standing pitches and one grass all with electric, water and grey waste, of a sort. On site there is an Elsan point, toilet, shower and washing machine, local charge applies. We would use this site again.

We used to use the CL network more than the main sites when we were members. Saw all sorts of different ones in our 20+ years of membership.
This CL is different to any we have stayed in before. Has all the amenities of a big site , but they are all very basic. We use our own, so not an issue, but they are there if you need them. Thanks for watching 👍Mark & Coral

Hi Mark & Coral :) The Hill Farm CL looked like a very nice place to get away. And the fact that you will only have 5 caravans there at one time hopefully means it will be a peaceful stay. Looks like a great park up. I think I would compare it to our "Harvest Host" or "Boondockers Welcome" programs we have over here in the states. When you showed your draining your grey water into the ditch it made me smile. In certain areas over here peoples would go freaking crazy if they saw that. Great walk around tour Marc, so fun to see. Ah Jaik's place, nice fellow we have used this CL a few times , conveniently located for Southwold, Walberswick Dunwich and Framlingham . Did you try the bakery just up the road amazing !
He has a CL and a campsite behind , like the old days when when a farmers had a 'rally field' next to the CL for when numbers overspill the 5 allowed 😉.
Jail was very helpful and yes, there still is an overspill next door, didn’t try the baker’s, can’t believe I missed that😁. Thanks for watching 👍Mark & Coral

You guys look like you got a nice camping site to stay in for a while. I love that they actually allow you to drain your gray water in the ditch behind you. Man, I don’t know about that shower. I don’t think Bill would fit. LOL. That dog walk area looks like it took you to a place you shouldn’t have been, trespasser. LOL

That little CL is a nice local one for us, being about 30 minutes from where we live. We haven’t been there but Mill Hill Farm is a favourite, a little further down into the village and is a very much larger campsite. Did you try the Emmerdale Farm Shop on the Westleton Road ? 😃🚐 Trev

Oh I like that site kind of back in the trees semi private like. That's my kind of site right there! Had never heard of CL is that like our Harvest Hosts over here? Can stay on peoples farms and wineries etc if they're on the list?
A CL is a members only site that only allows 5 RV’s. The minimum they have to supply, is water , somewhere to dump your toilet and a bin (trash can), but many offer a lot more. Thanks for watching 👍Mark & Coral
Nice place. What does CL stand for? It looks a lot like Harvest Hosts that we have over here. Farms, breweries, museums etc... that allow RVers to stay.

Sometimes all you need is a nice quiet CL over a busy site to just chill…. What’s the road noise like in real life? Did the camera exaggerate it?
we liked the site, the road noise didn't worry us, it wasn't bad, but that's the price you pay if you want a site with good access to the area. Thanks for watching
