So when his wizard 🧙♂️”Will” and his mage🧙♀️”Eleven” are in trouble, he’ll always be the one to come up with the plans. To protect them and keep them safe. No, he doesn’t have a sword 🗡️ and a shield 🛡️but it is own way is the knight. Not to mention, he did jump off a cliff for Dustin

Milevens only defense is “he said I love you” and “he’s obsessed with her!!” Yeah, he’s obsessed with the idea of her. I mean the only thing Mike ever talks about is her powers. He idolises her, not loves her. He never mentions how beautiful she is, or her personality or specific things he likes about her. He also always refers to her as “superman” or “superhero” never “superwomen.” Not to mention the fact that everyone thought eleven was a boy and was compared to Will a lot (when Will was still missing) and Mike took an interest to her. He always looks at El with more interest when her head is shaved or she’s wearing her more masculine clothing. Mike wheeler is definitely gay.

Plus at the s4 ending we can see Mike and Will together next to other canon couples while Eleven is in the front ALONE!!! (Not to mention the withered flowers that look like the ones Mike gave El when s4 started) I personally don’t think Mike deserves El as a lover but rather as a friend (When El attacked Angela he wasn’t even there for her!!! not to mention he can’t even say he loves her!?)
I can’t totally rule out the possibility that Mike is bisexual. I think he genuinely likes El but there’s this awkward encounter between Mike and Will when they pick him up from the airport and Mike refuses to hug Will and kinda ignores him.
I think mike is bisexual because at one point he clearly did love el in a romantic way but not just her, will too. Now in s4 I do think he's not super into El but is clearly into interested in will in this season and realising this at this in the beginning-middle of s3 and is...I wouldn't say "using" El, she's just helping him hide some things without her knowing😉.
