Hey man. Let off the throttle when you pull the clutch in to shift. Your redlining it mid shift just like give it slightly less throttle when you pull the clutch to smooth out the shifting.
WOT pulls you dont really need to smooth out throttle between each shift.
@@_Machine631_ why dont you? It's about maintaining a smooth weight balance. Maybe not when going straight but if you're ever mid corner it's really important to shift smooth. I just noticed and figured I'd say something brother.
I'm talking about 3:52 the way you shifted, you do that alot.
@@hardedar9647 yeah i was still getting used to the throttle early on. im used to my r1 which is very twitchy and hard to manage at times. I appreciate it though. :)
@@_Machine631_ okay sorry for tryna help but I figured I'd let you know. You do it on other videos on your r1 too.
Wow I’d be pissed if you rode my bike like that.
Its bad for the bike to keep the throttle open while shifting, dont do it
Even with a quick shifter?
@@ImranPangilinan with a quick shifter you dont have to pull the clutch
@@ImranPangilinan A quickshifter cuts the throttle automatically, so no you do not need to let go of the throttle. However, in the video, he keeps the keeps the throttle open while shifting manually. This is bad for the clutch and is also a good way to spin the rear wheel and fall.
@@ImranPangilinan you can see when he pulled in the clutch the needle redlines
As a gixxer guy, they absolutely killed it, looks so good😍
yeah man they did. the K8 gixxer's were nicer than the newer ones.
I agree this thing looks nasty in person that matte black finish and the muscular frame is a killer.
You should see one in person lol
Where did you learn how to shift😂
It hurts to watch when you don’t let off the throttle
Yeah I agree
Hey man, the lazy power delivery down low is because it’s a track focused 600 class bike. It’s not designed to be lugged at lower rpms. The real sweet spot of the power band is all above 8-9k rpm. Also when you are shifting, you should really close the throttle. You put a lot of unnecessary wear on your clutch and you are revving up the motor, sometimes even to redline, every time you shift. Try to break that habit and it will definitely save your clutch and make for safer riding, especially in the twisties where that can upset the suspension. Ride safe!
As a CBR owner you’re absolutely right. R6 is the coolest looking bike.
You clearly don’t know about bikes if you are comparing this r6 to an r1. 🤦🏻♂️
i dont know shit about bikes in all honesty, especially ones that use the same parts. I've only been riding about 1 month or so.
@@_Machine631_ you riding 1 month and you own a r1????
Dude.
It would make more sense to ride a 300cc since you can really push your bike in the canyons.
You will also learn how to ride better to.
He’s trolling lol I mean you can go on his page and see he has videos riding from a year ago.. also I watched another video of his he says he’s been riding for 9years lol
"A" mode is killer on these, u feel that jolt as soon as u hit 8k rpm
The 2019 ZX6R looked kinda bad when I first saw it in pictures, but when you see it in person and spend a little time with it the bike starts looking really good. Kinda like an 04 mixed with a 14
*checks tire pressure with his hands*
Could you do more about this specific bike, I love the R6 and would love to hear more about it as well as to see how you ride it. And btw I love your vids, keep up the good work man!
ill get another video riding it around a little more.
You’re wrong about the 19 636 body not being better than 13-18. The headlights I can agree with. But what I liked about it so much was how they broke away from replicating past zx10 headlight styles for the first time. Every time they’ve changed the headlights on a 6r, it’s been the old version of the zx10. I do like the 18 headlight style more, but like I said, it’s something unique kawi has done, and there is actually quite a difference in the headlights on them. Not butt hurt or anything about what you said, just commenting my 2 cents 😂 love this bike though man, sexy. Also love how the shift light is the same as an s1k
Just upgraded from a Ninja 400 to this beast, and i told my friend the same comment you made about leaning, this bikes leans like nothing it wants to corner fast so bad, I thought i would be a Kawasaki guy but when I saw this Punisher style I fell in love with the R6 LOL
You don’t like the big mirrors or turn signals? Do you like breathing oxygen & walking after a ride?
On dirt bikes i know people leave the throttle open when shifting but dont know bout supersports
6:35 The reason the throttle acts lazy or delayed is because you are in drive mode c. Have you ever been on a track?
@3:23 BY FAR MY FAVE PART OF THE VIDEO!!!! MADE ME SUBSCRIBE!!! LOL
Americans buy super sports bikes before they even learn how to shift properly. Just save time and pull the throttle all the time no matter what, doesn't sound ridiculous or amateur at all.
Also the bike wanting to lean is due to the tyre profile, just because its an R6 doesn't mean the bike wants to magically drag peg around every corner.
Idk man but for me the previous r6 looked more... menacing... that would be the first bike i would buy when i get my full license... but im thinking of just waiting to finish college, get a job, then get into motorcycles...
Same here !
I am 100% fan of the new Yamaha r6 and r1 plus I am a Yamaha fan.
Shits crazy I’m thinking about getting a yzf too and is crazy how you made this video in my town (Vacaville)
I don’t ride street bikes curious on why bike riders switch lanes with opposite turning signal for example they make a lane switch left but the turning signal to go right is on ? Assuming it’s human error
What kind of bike riding is that don thottle when shifting the cluch
2017 FIREBLADE is the best looking Honda right after the RC51
Congrats bro gotta love that r6
The “Uhhh...” clip from Spongebob had me dying. 😂
If you don’t mind me asking what is your camera/audio set up ? Great video the camera quality and sound are amazing 🤟🏾
everything is listed in the description. I also did a recent video where I talk about my gear.
Imagine a Akrapovic exhaust on in 🏁🏁🏁🏁😱😱
maaan I told my room mate that would be the BEST full system for it. but at $2k+ i dont know if he'll take the bait.
Whut up bro👍🏼 nice review..definitely like the color scheme on the bike😎
i love it. the graphite is sinister.
Crappy roads that’s why my first bike is a duel sport thinking about getting an R6 next.
Why you dont use auto shift oh man
Is it a comfortable bike to ride for a few hours?
Does it get really hot near the feet ?
Would you say the 2019 model then is sore on the back being crouched over all the time I wonder is there any difference in the 2020 model over the 2019 model I think I read online the only difference is colours available and higher price tag.
Lennon & McCartney Fanatic 2017-2020 r6 all feel the same in terms of riding position. very aggressive position due to the seat height. Cbr 600 or gsxr 600 have the most comfortable position in my opinion compared to other super sports
Get helibars.
*you’re in the vacaville/fairfield area?*
Suisun city
Such a beautiful bike.
Daamn bro I live in Fairfield we should link up and ride after this pandemic social distancing thing
I still ride with other people. pandemic's dont stop me. just sanitize ya gloves. haha
There is quickshift ...?
I want one 🙂 good vid 👍
"watching over the bike for him" wink wink haha jk. Love the review brotha! Bay Area!
haha i had to keep asking to ride it until he said go ahead. but no more than 1k miles :(
@@_Machine631_ Dope man, nothing else to do during quarantine than to make reviews so I feel you bro. Subscribed!
何故オートシフターあるのにクラッチ操作するんだ??壊れてる?
are you slipping the clutch at high rpms ? if so WHY ??? or am i missing something
no...i dont let off the throttle really. pull clutch, slam gear as quickly as possible. thats why it bounces the limiter sometimes.
@@_Machine631_ you gonna break your bike doing that.
_Machine_ thats really bad.... lol
it looks goooooooooooood
im going to try and log some more time on it this weekend.
pff i wish i could drive a bike...
It's a 2018 not 2019
Nice bike 👍🏾💯🇬🇧
LOL he named his bike kehlani?
0:39 subbed
Why do most americans use the clutch to change up thru the gears?? And this guy is killing the clutch!!!
Because most americans dont know how to drive shift vehicles. 99% of the vehicles in US are automatic.
This clutch bike destroying cuhck doesn't represent America.
indo alone 😃
very good quality for a small youtuber, but it just sounds like my 2001 suzuki bandit s
Bee: *I'm not a bitch :'(*
Quarantinians lmao
