Flow-wrapping machine with Box Motion from Schubert: Sealing high-barrier films

Thanks to new sealing technology, the Schubert flow-wrapping machine is now even more flexible.
The simple switch of the cross-sealing unit enables a quick change between Box Motion with linear-moving sealing jaws and heat-sealing with rotating sealing jaws. With both versions, the sealing time is continuously adjustable, depending on the film speed.
This enables thick high-barrier films to be processed just as reliably as sensitive monofilms or paper-based films. The choice between ultrasonic or heat-sealing and between Box Motion and rotating sealing jaws - depending on the requirements - offers manufacturers exceptional flexibility, especially when it comes to recycled materials.
At the same time, the flowpacker ensures high product quality thanks to the image processing and pick & place product infeed developed by Schubert. With this very unique machine concept, manufacturers will save up to 70% space in production environments compared with conventional flow-wrapping lines.
