    4cos²θ-3-1=-1
    4cos²θ-4=-1
    4sin²θ=-1
    sin²θ=1/4
    sinθ=-1/2
    sinθ=sin5π/6
    θ=2κπ+5π/6
    θ=2κπ+π-5π/6
    Then which one is the right one?

    At 7:11, i got confused, because ive seen people using pi n and 2pi n. Whats the difference between using those two?

      The period for Sin and Cos is 2π, the period for Tan is just π. Brian noted here that since we are looking for +/- solutions for this particular problem, the solutions repeat with 2 sets of numbers each a series with π as the difference. I highly recommend you look at Desmos, graph this problem, and you'll see this more clearly.

    How come square root of 4 is just 2 and not plus/minus 2 when u applied the rules for radicals

      It would have been, I did it correctly with the trig example

      The square root of 4 is 2. The solution to X^2-4=0 is +/- 2. See the distinction? I work in a high school, and the middle school teachers mess this up badly for us.

      On the bottom of the youTube screen, go to settings, and adjust speed to .75. It will sound perfect for you.
      When I am helping students, I am very self aware that I might be too excited and my talking speed gets a bit fast. I improved by telling the class to just say "slow down" if they see it happening. Over the years, I've gotten better with that feedback. When I listen to Brian (as I try to pick up tips tricks for my own teaching) I'm thinking "this guy really knows his stuff, and presents it in a really understandable way.
