I read the novelization. It’s so bizarre, and perhaps a bit more cohesive than what the film turned out to be. Good summary in the video. PS: native Floridian in me can’t help but note that conch is pronounced conk, like honk 👍🏻
It is a shame that "JAWS 3-D" never got a novelization. I mean, "Friday the 13th Part III in 3-D" had two different noveli-zations (the first in 1982 by Michael Av-allone and the second, more faithful version in 1988 by Hank Searls) and even "Amityville 3-D" got one (the only film in the entire "Amityville Horror" se-ries that got a novelization).
No, I was stupid. I meant Simon Hawke did the 2nd "Friday the 13th Part III" novel. He also did "Jason Lives" in '86, "Part I" in '87 and "Part II" also in '88, and "Predator 2" in 1990. Yeah, for some reason, they did not get a novelization for "Parts I & II" during their film releases, then ignored "Parts 4, 5, 7, & 8" and "Jason Goes to Hell" (though the latter did get a 3-issue comic book). "Jason X" didn't get a novel until 2005, "Freddy vs Jason" had its novel released a month before the film, and once again, they didn't made a novelization for the "2009 remake".

This sounds so bad it's good. I thought the shark 🦈 was creepy in the movie, but that was the only highlight. Michael Caine said he only did this because he needed money at the time. Subscribed
Great video! Searls' attempt to make the novelizations also sequels to the original novel were quite annoying to me. In the end, it made them contradictory to the book and the movie version. I wonder why he constantly (in both novelizations) referrs to characters as "the doctor" or "the surfer" even after names were mentioned or with their full names, as he repeatedly writes "Ellen Brody" instead of just "Ellen"; there weren't different Ellen's the reader would confuse. The pooping seal episode was copied & pasted from the Jaws 2 novelizaton. Jaws - The Revenge is one of my favourite guilty pleasure movies, along with the 1985 The Hills have Eyes 2 (the one with the dog flashbacks), which by the way also received a novelization.
Looking great with a 'stache C.B.! Jaws is a classic but the sequels are worse than some of the better Jaws rip-offs if i have to be honest. I would watch Great White(1981) before i watch Jaws 3 or 4. Orca is even better than og Jaws imho
