I love how pjsk just has these random Ruikasa moments that are vague but still hinting at it. Like, the Romeo & Juliet scene, Rui calling Tsukasa a "special case," Tsukasa sleeping (on Rui's shoulder perhaps) on the train scene, and this.
If I was in the same situation like Tsukasa I'm not going to hide under the table. Because there is a space under the table that easily to see my body even when the lights are off. So the easiest way to hide is in friends’s quilt. It's the closest and the safest 😂 like if Rui and Tsukasa are already close to each other then they’re just move a little bit to hide in Rui’s futon. And then they’ll be are safe from the teacher by moving in just a few moments.
To imply he was acting like he was asleep...? They all had to fake like they were asleep (except for Tsukasa because he wasn't supposed to be in his room in the first place, he was just supposed to hide).

He had nowhere else to hide, which is why it is implied Rui pulled him down into his futon and hid him that way. Just as you asked, how else would Tsukasa had heard Rui so closely? It's not Rui's side story, it's Tsukasa's, so Rui wouldn't be the main focus like that unless it was relevant (in which it was this time in this side story).

Nothing was ever directly specified, so it could have happened either way. I personally believe there was no way he could hide under the table because he'd be hiding in plain sight (which is why I assume he reacted the way he did when given the option) but you're allowed to believe otherwise. I didn't misunderstand anything, so nobody is right or wrong.

The table is probably the stupidest place to hide under when someone is looking for you because you can get spotted within an instant; it's obvious Rui stated that to mess with Tsukasa. Of course, I have no proof to back up my claim aside from implications, nor am I saying your viewpoint is wrong, there's just many things that don't add up to it either. You are free to disagree though.

That 3* card you're talking about is Tsukasa's 3* card from the Revival My Dream event, which I'm sure the developers made on purpose, knowing exactly which audience it would attract. That WxS 'anime opening' you're talking about was one the shortened anime version of the WxS main story that was announced with JP Project Sekai's 3rd anniversary. Every unit got one. Though, that specific part you're talking about was Tsukasa inviting Rui to join the troupe once again, and yes, it most definitely looked like a proposal if anything.

That WxS 'anime opening' you're talking about was one the shortened anime version of the WxS main story that was announced with JP Project Sekai's 3rd anniversary. Every unit got one. Though, that specific part you're talking about was Tsukasa inviting Rui to join the troupe once again, and yes, it most definitely looked like a proposal if anything.
