I find it funny when people say that Blaze can't sing, he obviously can and he were in Iron Maiden, he wouldn't have been there if he couldn't sing and his voice fits perfect for this song!
Blaze dio todo de el por la banda en aquel entonces, si bien es cierto Bruce es mejor vocalista, Blaze tiene tambien sus dones como cantante, la banda no decayo en lo mas minimo y colaboro con temas como este, Sign Of The Cross, Lord of The Flies, Futureal,Blood on the World's Hands y The Clansman, entre otras, canciones q hasta el propio Bruce las canta ya q son buenas..Blaze tiene gran merito en Maiden aunque la banda tuvo q arreglar varias de sus clasicas para q pueda cantarlas.Grande Blaze!!

@@benironside1264Blaze had a hard time singing Bruce's songs because he is a baritone vocalist and Bruce is a tenor vocalist. The problem was in the band because they didn't want to adapt the tonality of Bruce's songs to Blaze's voice. 
@@andifejzic6563 completely agree. Blaze was set up to fail from the start. And some of the live performances of the Bruce songs were sped up too. I always heard a rumour the singer from Edguy auditioned but Steve wanted a British singer. Imagine how good that would have sounded

no se como pero en el vídeo de compilación de Maiden original vision of the beast desde 1980 hasta 2001 en donde estaban todos sus videoclips entre esos años cuando ponía hacia atrás del primer vídeo me salía un video de Charles Chaplin pero con fondo musical de man on the edge, parece que era intencional ya que el vídeo de Chaplin se veía gente callendo, es lo más raro que he visto de iron maiden

I love blaze and the blaze maiden songs, and I’m glad he gets his due more these days… but in that I think it’s easy to forget how bad it was when he would be forced to sing Bruce era songs live. Their voices just don’t come from the same place and I don’t know how he was ever supposed to succeed live
cada uno es grande sin uno no seria grande el otro mi banda favorita desde que tengo 5 años y ya tengo 16 cada album tiene ciertas caracteristicas con solo escuchar una cacnion puedes diostingui de que album es es algo magico y sinceramente maiden sera comercial pero quedamos muy pococs que de verdad amamos maiden y no somos lenguas ya sea que una cancion empieze con bajo o o cono un sonido agudo de la guitarra sabes de que album es y lo mejor al bajo no lo dejan atras .. up the irons!

Los Fansboys de maiden habrian llorado porque sin Bruce no es lo mismo y eventualmente Dickinson habria regresado a la banda... habrian sacado 2 o 3 discos con el brasilero quien seria recordado como un ex-maiden en lugar de por sus meritos personales o sus exelentes trabajos en solitario.
Me gusta muchísimo the x factor no lo quieren muchos fans para mi es acordé a la época oscura en la musica metal se de los problemas de Steve por entonces y eso le da un peso adicional
when i was younger i.e. when the album was released i hated this song but now i love it! the whole album is unique. it sounds so different and raw. probably cuz harris produced it.

If it makes you feel better, this isn’t what you would have seen. It would have been blaze trying and failing to sing Bruce songs.

Blaze wasn't the issue, at least for me. The issue is that most of the songwriting during his tenure was rather lackluster.
The first time I heard this it was on "From Fear to Eternity" with Bruce singing it. Blaze may be ok, but Bruce's version is so much better.
Bruce is the only Maiden singer for me
