I caught a baby flathead yesterday off a worm, bites been slow here, i also once caught a baby channel that fought like a 10 pounder, so disappointing when it was a tiny one
The biggest surprise from watching CD and KC is the number of Ocean boats on that Tennessee river system. I figure the rich folks are hiring captains to bring them up the Mississippi to the ohio and up the Tennessee
I spent half the day on the river yesterday and I didnt catch a single catfish of any kind. Drum, bluegill, turtles, bass, and white bass. I was using cut bait, live bait and night crawlers. Then I dragged in a 58" long nosed gar that ate my skipjack head. Boys, that was an epic battle.
