Hi Friends! In today’s video, I’m reviewing one of my favorite Hermes products, the Kelly Wallet which in my opinion is even more versatile than let’s say a Mini Kelly or Kelly 25. I’m doing an in-depth review of the classic Kelly Wallet and compare it to the recently launched Kelly To Go Wallet which is Hermes’ take on the Chanel WOC trend. Also, I’m showing you 5 ways to style the Kelly Wallet to make it look just like the Kelly Pochette or a crossbody bag. Do you have any tips on how to add a strap to the Kelly wallet and wear it like a bag? Or do you prefer the "Hermes WOC"?

Hi Friends! Are there any tricks you know of to make the Kelly Wallet into a bag? 🙋🏻♂️
You can absolutely use the same tricks on the Constance wallet but bare in mind, the Constance wallet is quite a bit longer than the Kelly so it might be a little awkward to wear it crossbody 🙈
I wear the extra long twilly as a cross body, or use the belt to wear it as a belt bag when I dress more casually

Very informative. You have a great way of describing things and a very ingenious sensibility in using your Hermes products. Attaching a strap to a wallet isn't for me, but you've shown how versatile that can make the wallet, and many people would find this very useful. I've got a Kelly Longue wallet in Epsom that I love.

One tiny structural difference that I find is aesthetically really significant for me is how the sangles are wrapped around the wallet. The Kelly to go sangles structurally are more consistent with the sangles on Kelly bags and thats a big game changer for me. 🧡

Q: How often do you carry a clutch bag? You mentioned occasionally carrying your Kelly wallet as a clutch. I think I'd be prone to setting it down, forgetting it was there, and walking off without it. It also seems like holding it and tying up one hand would be inconvenient. But I became tempted to get one after I saw the Cinhetic design. I love that clasp! I was thinking of either the clutch or the To Go wallet (with the strap removed). I'd welcome your thoughts on men carrying clutch bags and their pros and cons as a practical accessory.

I’m back! From Hermès. Lol. Anyway, I decided to use a Twilily scarf and then instead of creating a knot or rolling it, I used a scarf ring (in this case the Coeur mini heart) to secure the ends. Looks like it works well for a shoulder strap. I probably can’t crossbody it, but this is a huge improvement for me! (I rarely crossbody anyway!)

Q: I started my Hermes journey in the beginning on June this year and my SA hinted I will be able to get my first dream bag in a couple of months! I know they are quota bags and because I’m in Canada, we are only able to pick up one bag per year. Q: have a question pls... I have seen people use some silver necklaces to create a metal strap as a chain since I personally don't like the leather strap they're using on the to Go . Do you think those necklaces " used as chains " would tarnish over time ? although they seem a nicer way than a leather strap in my opinion especially if they can be attached to the inner Knob of the To Go

No, the Kelly wallet should be readily available 🙋🏻♂️ The Kelly To Go might be a little harder to find as it's just recently launched but should be relatively painless to acquire 🍊

I am GPS do you have to be offered a Kelly To Go Wallet? This is on my wish list but I wasn’t sure if you can go to the boutique and pick one up or if you have to be offered one. I ask since I don’t see on their website (only on resellers).
@@athenaa972 In theory, you should be able to pick it up off the shelve but due to the hype they're probably pre-sold before they even hit the stockrooms. Be sure to get in touch with you SA so they can keep an eye out for you and it should also pop up on the website from time to time 🧡

Unless you're really petite even the largest Hermès belt wouldn't be long enough to use it crossbody 😔

Dear, one question that might sound silly. Could you fit an iphone inside of the kelly wallet and still be able to close the flap? I am considering getting the farandole necklace and i wonder if i could use it as a WOC, but in order to work for me it should fit my phone 🤷♀️

I think so! I have an iPhone X which slips in there effortlessly and leaves plenty of room for other things, so I assume a Max would fit just fine. Here're the exact measurements of the Kelly Wallet - 7.8" long x 4.5" high x 0.6" deep

Honestly, ITA I’m not a fan of how the Box leather is harder to look after either. It’s beautiful when in a new condition, but the fact you have to really be careful with it puts me off. I just love the texture of Epsom. Plus, it just makes more sense to have a wallet/mini bag-especially since it’s going to get a lot constant day-to-day use-in a leather that’s very hard wearing.

Hermes already took the classic Kelly wallet from the website. As soon as something gets popularity, they want to make it a classic.

Actually, placing the chain as a strap is a pain. Every time you need to open it you will have to hold both the chain and the bag as it's very easy to drop either the chain or the wallet. I rather buy the wallet with the strap that is secure.
Absolutely, you need to be careful with the chain 🙋🏻♂️ but it looks much better than the thin little strap the Kelly To Go comes with 🙈
