The Honda VT1100 is a motorcycle engine used in the Honda Shadow 1100 motorcycle line since its debut in 1985 until production ended in 2007. In this 22-year run, there were minimal changes. It is a liquid cooled, 1,099 cubic centimeters, 45 degree V-twin.

I've been riding the motorcycle (1100C3 / SC39) for 25 years now. I love the character of this bike and it is the best therapy after a stressful day. Only the difficult search for whitewall tires has been getting more and more annoying for years!
I've got a 1997 VT1100C2 ACE, I've had it for 6 years now and absolutely love it. It's getting ready to roll to 70,000 miles, and has been the most reliable and maintenance free vehicle (cars and trucks included) I've ever had.
Still have my Red Shadow Spirit that I purchased new in 05. I do not ride as much these days now that I'm 64yo. Love this bike and will keep riding as long as I am able....

J'ai la c2 ACE de 1996 avec 70000 km. Un bijou ! La moto la plus réussie au monde.
I had an 02 Spirit once and it was one of the most agile cruisers i have ever ridden. Power was just right too!

I had a 1999 Honda Shadow 1100T loved that bike but my wife took it to work and ran into a parked car at 10 mph and it was totaled. That was back in 2006. Now a returning rider and looking at Shadow Spirts because of the cast wheels.

Definitely the greatest still have my 95 ACE. Dry as a bone and still looks like its in showroom condition

Honda Shadow 1100, 50HP, reddish white, dry weight 288kg. Football ⚽ games that took place on the evening of the 28th August 2000, once the teams met again in the same order in the future, all games ended up with the same score; (1:0_1:4_1:2_2:2_0:1) That's weird.

1985 and 1986 was the VT1100CG. edit: oic thx. the 1985 is VT1100CF and the 1986 is VT1100CG
