Getting CONFUSED by So Many Types of RICE NOODLES 🍜🤪

I love all kinds of noodles. I used to get so confused with the English translation (and I sometimes still find it confusing) as there are different kinds of translation referring to the same kind of noodles. I remember when I first moved to Australia many years ago, I was missing "米線" (mai5 sin3) a lot and wanted to cook it at home. However, for some reason, I couldn't find the right Chinese words or the English translation. it took me a while to find out "江西米粉" (gong1 sai1 mai5 fan2) is actually "米線".
