    In this video, I will show you how to make a custom PCB from any project idea. This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to design a custom PCB using EasyEDA design software and get it manufactured from JLCPCB, the largest PCB manufacturer in China.
    PCBs are the key components present in almost all the electronic devices nowadays. For many years PCBs had been out of reach of amateur electronic hobbyists due to their high prices and complex design process. Now, with development of technology, PCBs have become easily available at affordable prices to all hobbyists and makers.
    EasyEDA is an easy to operate Design Automation software which has enabled many hobbyists to design their own PCBs for their personal projects. This video goes through the major aspects of the schematics and PCB designing features of EasyEDA. And I also give some PCB designing tips and rules to follow while designing a PCB.

    IMO once shipping is included, jlpcb doesn't sound like the best option, especially in light of the trade practices of China and the IP issues ... if you are having a product fabricated and don't want to have to compete with clones of your product instantly.

    You are clearly an expert in this software, but before an expert can be a really good teacher, he has to "unlearn" his subject so that he can see the difficulties a novice will face when watching his lesson. In this case, (5:25) you were continuing to talk about what can be done, while the mouse flew around the screen too fast to track, and netports appeared and got relabeled. It took me quite a while to figure out how to do that, exacerbated by the fact that the "Wiring tools" and "Drawing" blocks that appear at the top right of your screen do not appear on my screen.
    For me, as a novice who downloaded the software only an hour ago, this tutorial would have been much better if you had slowed down a bit and described what you were doing instead of what can be done. For example, how did those wires appear at 5:27?
    I haven't got further than placing netports yet, so I may find other difficulties too (I haven't figured out how to label the schematic yet). Don't get the impression that your efforts are not appreciated - they are - but I feel that the video could have been _even_ better.

      @littlejackalo5326 Před 2 lety

      This is a brief overview, not a step by step circuit design tutorial. There are plenty of those, and they are HOURS AND HOURS long, of watching a guy's computer screen while he does voice over. If you thought you would be planning anything on here, besides a very brief and basic overview, in just 15 min, you came to the wrong video

    Why are the PCB's so cheap but the shipping is very expensive. They're PCB's, they don't need the luxery of my ballsack. Do I also have the option of NOT picking them up? Just make the PCB's 20 dollars and the shipping 2.50 or some shit, that makes more sense.
