Every pregnancy really has a story! I got a couple of ER visits too on my 3rd tri! (due to too much walking, and ended up having to endure inguinal pain til I gave birth!) So happy to know everything is well now. Take it easy momma!! Keep safe and praying for a safe delivery! God bless you & your little one :)

The amount of pain you think you’ll have on your delivery is not that much compare to the overwhelming joy you’ll feel after seeing your baby I promise. You prepared so well and you have a very good support system you’ll get through this strong mum💪🏻. By God’s grace you will safely deliver your healthy baby cokoro🥰

Thanks for sharing this! Experienced kind of the same thing. Had mild contractions on week 33, which was discovered during my Non-Stress Test. Didn't even also feel it cause I have high pain tolerance. I thought baby is just kicking so much.😅 They checked my cervix and thank God its still long and closed. I was ordered to have a urinalysis to check on infection, but it came back normal with slight bacteria. I was just put on tocolytic treatment and bedrest for a week. We went back for another NST after a week and there are still mild contractions. By this time, they decided to do the speculum test and again checked my cervix which is still long and closed. Turned out I have a vaginal infection. Didn't really think that I have it because my discharge looked like it's what pregnant women have. I was ordered to take antibiotics for 7 days (tomorrow would be the last day), continue with tocolytic treatment and bedrest until the next check-up. Hopefully by this Monday's check-up everything is okay already. I'm on my 35th week now, and always praying and talking to our little boy to just chill and be patient so we can deliver full term. I also echo your sentiment on being put on bedrest. I kept thinking that it made me feel useless and it will make me weak for labor and birthing. I don't exercise as much as you do, but I was pretty active before getting pregnant and kept doing yoga atleast 1-2x a week or walking exercises or just really doing stuff around the house when I got pregnant. I've discovered a doula in YT who shares birthing advices i.e breathing exercises. Now I am just trying to just practice those and trying to have a mindset of "this body is made for birthing", and kind of bringing my marathon/running mantra to life - finish strong. Thank you again for being so generous in sharing your pregnancy journey. It made me feel less isolated to be pregnant in this time of pandemic. Same experience. I was admitted when I was still at 34th week. I had preterm contractions but wla naman akong nafeel na sakit but already felt wavelike movements na akala ko movements ni baby so di ko lang pinapansin. We found out about it when we had the regular check up and they used the EFM tapos nakita na nila na every 5 min yung contractions ko. SO I stayed in the hospital for a week and actually signed a waiver na sa bahay na lang after a week (malaki na bill namin). I had medications at home and ng maubos after two days nag water break na buti na lang talaga na prolong ni doc ang pagstay ni baby sa tummy. I gave birth around 36 weeks via cs and baby was all good naman kaya naka uwi kami agad. Now my baby is 21 months and still breastfeeding him

Yes that's true that steriods are given incase of a pre-term labor so that the Baby's lungs will be mature incase you give birth. I have experienced this too. Have a safe delivery Mommy Camille ! God bless you and Baby Cokoro. Stay healthy and safe always. I'm sure you're going to be a pretty Baby like your Mom. :)

Threatened preterm labor are super super scary. I experienced it with my 2nd son at 26weeks! Like I was having contractions every 5 minutes buti nalang I already knew what labor contractions are like kaya I resist the urge the push while bringing myself to the hospital ALONE! I had no infections but I did overexert myself while cleaning the bathroom. Kaya always take the time to rest while baby is still inside because when she's here, no more rest time 😆

Actual, active labor is really really painful.. Let’s normalize being scared about it because we are just human after all.. 😊 Good thing you and baby Cokoro hit the 37week mark.. Gave birth at 36weeks unexpectedly due to infection. I was also not feeling anything and just went on a weekly routine check up, not knowing that I am already 4cm dilated. It was such a blur because we’re not completely prepared, but good thing my little girl was healthy. Got discharged just after two days.
With pregnancy, you can really never tell. You’ll have your expectations, but your body and baby will tell you ( in so many unexpected ways) otherwise. I think what happened was, albeit difficult, a blessing in disguise. Because with the amount of infection that I had, if my little girl stayed longer inside my tummy, she would have been infected as well and would most likely be staying in NICU.

I been there in that same situation but different story tagalogin ko na Lang 😅 skl nag wwork ako when I found out I'm pregnant I'm super active I didn't know I was bleeding inside Ang lakas tlg Ng feeling ko there's something wrong with my body bcoz i still don't have a proper check up so decide right a way na mg pa check up na my ob see I have this subchronic hemmorage inside in my ultrasound she reco that I need to have a bed rest in 2 weeks completely 2 weeks you can't walk you can't do the dishes as in Wala Kang gagawin kht pag ligo hnd pwede kelangan nka upo kaya super hirap kapag super active women ka just like u ms camile it's very hard na Hindi gumalaw sa bahay that's why I super relate in that 😅
