Great job 👍. I’m too old to camp now , but it several years ago, I tool a small galvanized boat trailer built 18in. walls, put an aluminum camper shell with a piano hinge to raise it. I went solo from La. To Tombstone then on to Deadwood. Best trip ever. Enjoy while you’re young.
What a great setup you've created - the hinged grill and instant canopy - uber awesome and you'll never regret all the epic trips taken in your own hand-built camper! Thanks for sharing.
I'm looking at doing a small trailer for behind a motorcycle. Hard side, pop up, and less than 350 pounds loaded. No pressure. Seeing the ingenuity here helps me stay focused. Thanks.
What a lovely family man. Those kids will have so much fun and memories to tell their own kids about. Love the simplicity of his trailer...lots of useful ideas. Thanks so much for sharing.
Fantastic! Sweet and simple. Love all the "perks" and yet was not complicated. I live full time in a tiny home 96sf (no loft) and it's too large. I want to down size even more, so this video really gave me some wonderful ideas. Thank you both so much.
Wonderful ❣️ I would stand in the yard and wait on my daddy to get off work on Fridays to go to the camp. I absolutely love what u have created. And the love u have for your family and for camping is wonderful.Enjoy.
8 minutes was not enough, I would have loved to see the project build from start to finish. I have a Stock Trailer about which, I will do something similar albeit, for an all year round trailer will require insulation and a wood burning stove. Good video, just could've done with more information.
very nice build. I bought the same type mattress it came rolled up put it in place and opened it up, its the easiest way to get in the camper. also you can never have to many out side hooks .
Thanks for an enjoyable video. The simple design is refreshing to see something affordable. I would love to see the upcoming road trip and similar topics in the future.
Gary Grow the road trip video is up, unfortunately Craig is the one good with the camera. My footage was all but unusable LOL. We tried to make the best of it though, check out parts one and two of the road trip
I just came across this video, and loved it❤it reminds me of a memory of having to sleep in the back of my dads truck, he had a shell on the back, when we lived in Alaska. We were tent camping. It rained so hard. We had alot of fun, it was great living there.
That is more awesome than you realise. Been toying with getting a camper for a while but don’t wanna give up my 4x4. Your trailers inspired me. More vids please. Cheers.
Love this idea. I was looking into buying a van and doing a van conversion but with the prices of some of these vans plus the cost of material it just wouldn't be in the budget, but this is way more doable. You have given me some great ideas to eventually get started on my very own. Thank u
i’m making something exactly like this, and this guys build looks so functionally incredible. i sincerely hope you can get him to do an in depth video.
Love those old M105's. They make an awesome platform for an off-road trailer. Your project is very innovative. Love the rustic, utilitarian style of it. Hope to see future videos as you do more additions.
This is cool! Great parents taking the kids in nature constantly! Makes a world of difference in society.. . My mom took me hiking teaching me about nature and my dad taught me about reptiles... Ever since I have had respect for both more than anything...🙂 We need more parents inspiring and teaching their kids about respecting the land and the creatures that roam it! Kudos to you!🤗 Much love! 💙💜🌲🌲
M105a2 DIY Camper that’s so awesome, really make me happy! We are actually on our third cross country trip right now... we are driving through the night tonight but once we get settled in somewhere with a good signal I’m going to check out your videos...
This has given me some ideas for my boat trailer. I think I may have been over thinking it. I really liked this video. I have a 16' camper someone gave me but I would like to have something even simpler. and I liked his design.
that's awsome , I love the creative ideas an the fact you built it yourself, I really appreciate all the effort you put in it an not just go out an buy a small camper
This is the best use of a surplus trailer I have ever seen. I like the conversion of the pintle hitch.
My favorite interest ; DIY RV's , especially vans. This is a great video for the thought he's put into the build ; what a expedition rig ! Thanks
Great job 👍.
