  • In this week's video we're building a track using some affordable and underrated vintage microphones. We're using a 1960's pair of Reslo RB Ribbon Microphones (sell for around $350 each) , a 1980's modded Oktava ML-51 Ribbon Microphone (sells unmoved for $100, modded for $325), and a 1970's AKG D109 (long body, sells for $50-100) Dynamic Microphone.

I guess "affordable" means different things to different folks...

With the Reslo’s being around $300 each, Oktava being around $300, and AKG D109 being $100 or less, I’d say compared to most vintage microphones these are affordable (especially considering their sound)!
