This is why directors should be more lenient on their actors, let them really get into character how they would like. Obviously they need to follow the script in some way, but that extra flair is what makes movies amazing

I’ve always like those directors who do a couple of takes that are by the script but then let the actors just improv a scene and like %80 of the time it’s more hilarious.

When I heard Ant-Man existed I thought it would be stupid. Like, Ant-Man? Seriously? But goddamn I was wrong, Ant-Man became my favorite character in the MCU very fast. I love the comedy and the action! I love the character development of Scott Lang as well. Criminal to superhero is pretty interesting to me. And Ant-Man has a boring and unoriginal name but the character is still very unique and interesting to watch. I'm excited to see him in more Marvel movies in the future, and I really hope he gets more screen time.

Yeah, shrinking tech sounds boring, but when you mix and match strength, mass/density, durability properties etc. between large and small to suit the moment with no logic whatsoever, you can get some pretty sick action scenes lol

The 1960’s, in the US (and some other countries, from what I’m told), where notorious for large-scale counterculture movements, including experimentation with psychedelic drugs, such as LSD and other drugs that caused hallucination. There’s long been a myth (apparently with no actual basis), that use of LSD can cause random hallucinations to occur, even years later (the so-called ‘acid flashback).
The joke, then, is that this character, while he appears to be a clean-cut elderly gentleman, did a lot of LSD and/or other psychedelics back in the 1960’s. (Incidentally, the film takes place in San Francisco, which was a key center of the counter-culture movements of the era). When he sees a car apparently disappear in front of him, he assumes that it’s a hallucination, resulting from youthful drug use.

So thrilling that Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp) doing another, badass, action character with having to wear a suit, which looks beautifully good on her, and having the same stunt double who worked with her as Tauriel (Ingrid Kleinig).
The new Wasp suit's design looks closely the same as the pro type wasp suit. It would've been interesting if, either from Hope or Janet, the pro type suit had been used.
Excellent that Wasp suit the Evangeline Lilly, as Wasp, had to wear moved right, and was flexible well for her. What would be like if she could have a Wasp suit that could actually shrink & enlarge, have wings, disk launchers, and blasters? I wish I could have her (Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp) as a friend and/or ally; as well as other characters of that universe, who are my favorite. There don't ever seem to be any sequel movies that are have the same title as the first movie and 2 together.
We should see Michael Douglas (Hank Pym/Ant Man I) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp I) reprise their roles again where it's before the timeline in the Avenger's MCU of when they were stopping a nuclear missile, and closely to when they started being Ant Man and Wasp.

See every other female in the marvel movies outside of Captain Marvel was meant to be there didn't push women are better than men, and never had a bad thing to say about men. They in effect aren't misandrist. That's why I loved the rest of the female characters because they were viewed as partners to the men, they were there to help which is essentially what superheroes do especially in teams. Nothing ugly was said about men, and they came up with ways to make the fighting believable which is essential to female superheroes. What went wrong for captain marvel is they just from the beginning made false claims about the character being the most powerful in MCU (which we all know is false because the Phoenix is the most powerful) and they tried to pawn her off on us with her nasty misandrist attitude which totally botched her involvement in the series. Jean Grey has always been the most powerful character as the phoenix and even Sophie Turner was a pleasure to see on screen and in interviews because she's not ugly about anything. Also, I loved Evangeline in the 5 armies because even though she was never in the novels her character was brilliantly written and acted to make her seem like she had always been there, a parallel to Luthien, and a bridge that made sense opening the way for Legolas and Gimli at the end which I feel Tolkien himself would have approved of had he still been with us.
