    Also you could be throwing an error because of high battery draw. The two batteries would be overloaded if you pull 10 kw from your inverters. Each battery is rated for 100 amps DC continuous draw. With internal power consumption our inverter pulls about 230 dc amps with a 10 kw load. A smaller load on your inverter will run fine but may cause issues as the batteries get drawn down.
    That's a nice setup, good to see someone running two of those units together.
    We like the transformer based inverters better here and I've been waiting to see two of the eg4 6000 units running together.
    Thanks, have a sunny day.

    I finally got rid of code 60 and 61 But now I can’t get rid of error code 83
    Been dealing With signature solar for three months now what an aggravating road

      I don't have Signature Solar inverters but I have a pair of Sungold Power Bluepower TP6048 (Voltronic clones like the ones in this video). In my experience, when I get error 83 is due to "The battery voltage of each inverter is not the same.". When in parallel operation, all inverters must share a batt pos/neg connection, even when the batteries are off or not present (these can run battery-less as you may know). I can avoid the error it by turning off the battery(ies) at their individual breaker/switch instead of severing the common pos/neg connection between the two inverters, if I ever need to disconect the batteries (for a battery or whole system reset for example). That way, the two inverters will always share a pos an neg connection between themselves thus always reading the same voltage even when batts are disconnected. Hope it helps.

      What did you do to fix error 60 code?

  • @EduardoRodriguezRocks
    @EduardoRodriguezRocks Před rokem +1

    I think is related to the order of turning on the inverters

    How are you guys handling the NEC code requirement for DC arc-fault protection? This has me stumped!

      @@fuqutube This is one I don’t want to ignore. In working in a manufacturing plant, I’ve seen what AC arc-faults can do (arc-flash at high amps is a killer) and DC arcs can destroy and burn. Since my panels are on an old barn, I’m willing to spend the money to do what I can. I used to believe the code was just for others to make money or have power. But in my old age I’ve learned that generally most rules come from destruction, injury, or deaths. So I’m still looking!
