The more I look at CF moto and kymco the more I appreciate that they are around and still putting out atvs when others are pulling back.

I've been around these machines for about 6 months, six days a week. The accelerator issue has been addressed with an updated part but I've noticed it on the 800 and 950 EX models also. At the ranch I ride around in a JD Gator so that's what I got used to before getting to move around many brands of all ages either in for repair or brand new CFMOTO's going out the door. The CF transmission on the ATV's seem to go into gear so smooth that I had to get used to it, with the side x side versions not far behind. People seem to be happy with the machines and reliability seems to be good. If I had to pick one utility machine with an unlimited budget it would be a JD 825i, I got to move one around once and it was a dream. Back to reality, I own 2 Brute Forces and a bunch of 3 wheelers all with age and miles on them, and thats a good life.

I own one with out the doors I do agree with the middle console could be tighter but with a cold drink sitting in it hardly any movement while riding all in all I love the machine.

These guys are the new KIA/Hyundai of the off road world. I remember no one trusting KIA/Hyundai when they came out. Even having buy a minivan get a car free deals. Now the Korean car companies are well respected. We just don't have any dealers near where Im located.

Hyundai is a South Korean auto maker. South Korea is a vibrant middle class country that is super modernized and has comparable to Japanese MFG processes. Hyundai cars have a very good rep for reliability just like Japanese cars. CFmoto is a chinese company with made in China quality and pricing. I don't think comparing cfmoto to Hyundai is very good comparison.

Matthew Rebecchi I 100% agree with that assessment. Big difference between South Koreans and China quality!

@@mattreb5748 Yes and 15-20 years ago Korea was considered sub par to the Japanese. Korea has made huge strides in quality. Plenty of Japanese brands use Chinese made engines like Kawasaki using cherry engines in the mule. Im not saying everything Chinese is good, but they are coming up in the world of power sports, just like the Koreans did with cars.

@@CandEAdventures i considered one of the zforce units.the cfmoto forums have very high owner satisfaction, however the dealer networks need work.people keep dumping on them without ever owning one or having any factual statistics to back up the complaints.it's always "a friend of my friend" scenarios.it's not like they explode belts and catch on fire all the time.all machines have their issues and from my research so do cfmoto, but it's nothing out of the ordinary and everything i've read is they can actually run with most of the big dogs.we all know the polaris/can am fanboys love to dump on everything else but their own machines.

@@edwardcote1331 I'm a dealer for Linhai/Bighorn and previously, Redcat, Tank and Kazuma. I've watched the Chinese entries get better, and CF is no exception, they've always added the options on these as a selling point and for the niche consumer they are certainly adequate, nothing more. What they lack, at least in the states, is resale value, expect to take a 50% hit the first year, if you can find a buyer at all. And yes, I've lumped them in with the other Chinese entries as having worked on all major brands and most of the Chinese imports, it's where they fit.

A different perspective on warranty is that reliability issues usually follow something called the bathtub curve. Most problems surface quickly followed by a very long period of little to no problems, and later on with age and use you start to develop problems more frequently. If you graph this it resembles the profile of the bathtub. Warranty is designed to cover you during the beginning of that graph. At least they are giving you 5 years to get your 5000km in and find/fix those initial problems?

I agree that they are cheeper then a lot of the competition, but like they say, you get what you pay for. Let’s not forget, the resale value on CF Moto’s is horrible.

Imo, i think their attention to detail is way off base. Their marketing strategies are abysmal, and sadly, they just came into the game wayyyyy to late. Even a budget minded comsumer would have a hard time being sold on this machine, with so many other offering out there. Nothing seems to add up with this company.

this, every one complains they are built cheaper and wont take abuse. but not every one needs a machine that can take a pounding some people just ride leisurely and hardly ever beat on it or even go into mud. these machines are for those people. id break a cf moto the first week i had it, but for some its a good choice

My father bought a chinese 4wheeler once, it was made by SUMOTO. It also came fully loaded, it even had a fucking horn. He paid 7000 canadian for it brand spanking new. Anyway, it was a gigantic piece of shit and the company that sold and warranties them went out of business shortly after. He ended up selling it 3 years later for 200 bucks. My father drove like an old man, he kept stock tires on everything he ever bought and went around any mud deeper then 2 inches lol. After seeing the constant issues he started having day one, I knew I would never buy a cheap alternative wheeler. Here in Canada we also have a place called Canadian Tire who use to sell chinese wheelers. They stoped dealing with them due to the constant returns and problems they were having and you can no longer buy them there. Anyway, long story short is don't take the cheap way out with ATVs.

I have a dealer 5 miles away and 5 others with in an hour drive. Im not too worried about it. Looks wise its a little goofy looking stock for sure . I know many people with rzrs and can Ams that spend too much time in the shop, some weeks at a time. Ill put a set of 30s front bumper and rear trunk on, changes the look dramatically. Performance wise they hold there own in class. Yes a turbo will dust it, but it can hang with rzr 1000s , probably beat a 900s. Its all about having fun any way. What do you drive
