How old are your grocery store eggs? Here is the explanation from the USDA.
    "Dates on Egg Cartons
Use of either a "Sell-By" or "Expiration" (EXP) date is not a federal regulation, but may be required, as defined by the egg laws in the state where the eggs are marketed. Some state egg laws do not allow the use of a "sell-by" date.
"Many eggs reach stores only a few days after the hen lays them. Egg cartons with the USDA grade shield on them must display the "pack date" (the day that the eggs were washed, graded, and placed in the carton). This number is a three-digit code that represents the consecutive day of the year starting with January 1 as 001 and ending with December 31 as 365. When a "sell-by" date appears on a carton bearing the USDA grade shield, the code date may not exceed 30 days from the date of pack.

So if my eggs have the usda emblem and the code is 232, the date of the eggs would be August the 20th, for year 2021 correct?

My cousin gave me some eggs his chickens laid. I just cooked three and one had red in the egg. Is that ok to eat or should I trash it?

Debbie! Please turn on your view counter and make sure your monetization button is clicked! I've shared your wonderful video with everyone on five separate FaceBook Keto blogs. I want you to get the views your video deserves. 'Would also LOVE any Keto or Low-Carb, High Fat recipes you'd like share. We love your channel!

My monetization is on. Thanks for the shares. I have several low carb, high fat recipes. My desserts are almost all made with Splenda, and I have an almond meal pie crust. I am not very, very strict, not Keto, just keep carbs to a minimum due to my diabetes. The cheesecake can be made with no crust and it is low carb.
