For this episode of Protect The World, I travelled to the majestic mountains of the Peruvian Andes, in order to spend some time at Wayqecha Biological Station.
Wayqecha is a research facility dedicated to the conservation of Peru's Andean cloud forests, and the unique biodiversity contained within them. The majority of their team is made up of Indigenous Peruvian women, who coordinate a very special project, focused on one of the Andes' most elusive and enigmatic inhabitants…
