You did a really good job. I also feel like 3 pieces of hair looks better than 2. Its a fuller braid.
Maybe you can go faster by putting the hook through and then attaching the hair to the hook.

Put the hook through the rubber band then add the hair to the hook n pull the hair through. Easier faster less stress

It took 7 hours long because of the way you hooked the hair on the latch before putting it thru your pony tail. It came out nice though.
