Was this around the time when Wayne Webb used to rest his arm down with the ball in his setup position? The producers probably told him "don't do that."
Wayne Webb...5' 6" tall from my home state of Massachusetts! I remember watching him on Saturdays when the PBA tour was great with guys like Earl Anthony, Dick Weber, Don Johnson, Mark Roth, Johnny Petraglia, and many more.
i did not know wayne was from massachussetts. i'm from there too but the only type of bowling i've ever done is candlepin bowling which is all we had in my area. the same principals kind of apply for the most part.
Wayne probably dropped off the radar when steroids were banned in the PBA, but regardless, this will always be a great instructional video. When I feel that my timing is off, its good to come back and watch this to make sure I'm in correct form. Thanks for posting it on CZcams so I don't have to put in the old VHS tape.

Hmm. John Jowdy recommends having your feet and shoulders square to your target, not the foul line. It seems there are many different paths to success.
One time I was at an arcade bowling game where the pins are like puppets. It requires strength, just like duckpin bowling. I was in a scenario of the 7 10. Therefore I sung this theme song out loud starting from the 7 10 scene. Da da da, OUCH! Apparently I accidentally dropped the ball on my foot and it rolled into the gutter instantly.

Thanks for the upload! Wayne and Lisa rule!
The early 80s were awesome. Wayne was roided up? Love those retro colors on the seats and alley. The wood paneling is also nice with the banner.
good stuff
It's hard to be fairly relaxed and erect at the same time, Wayne.
