Gemmy animated 1999 and 2000 Hip Swinging Santa Claus (Plaid Vest Here Comes Santa Claus Version)

the second and third 1999 ones needed repairs the second one was so crooked it couldn't even dance so I had to readjust it and the third one had a split gear,both arms snapped off and it came with a 12 volt adapter that somehow didn't fry it....and finally the 2000 model only needed a gear replacement.

How do you raise the pitch on these ones?
Does it depends on which batteries you use?

Each different copy of the item varies with the pitch.
Lower batteries do change and distort the pitch.
However if talking about changing it entirely you're gonna have to swap out a small blue resistor near the ic blob chip but it's a risky thing to do if unsure.

They were from thrifts and that last one is a later model from 2000
