How slow was that turn out. A bit of urgency wouldn't go astray

CFA brigades get the page, than they drive to the station and get gear on and then turnout. So around 6-9 minutes. FRV was already responding to the incident.

This tanker has been changed to a. New 4.4c heavy tanker. Bacchus Marsh has taken this tanker to replace there old one and redone the lights to a more modern day style

I don't understand wondering around with no urgency at all then turning out with lights and sirens, may as well just drive there under normal road conditions

CFA are volunteers, they got a 7-8 minute from when they get paged to turning out from the stations doors in the truck. FRV was already basically onscene as there paid firefighters.

Incorrect. Brigades closer to Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula areas typically have 4 mins to respond to Primary calls and 6 minutes to respond to support calls. It all depends on the brigade profile and the area which you are in.@@EmergencyServicesWestVictoria

It is, but now Wendouree doesn't have that tanker anymore. They upgraded the tanker to a Heavy Tanker and gave there one to Bacchus Marsh.

Around 2 min 20 seconds to roll from the time you started filming. Guess around 4 minutes minimum to get to the station and get changed.
Wonder if a 6 minute plus turnout is appropriate for such a dense population with heavy industry and intense commercial centres in the area?
Time for a fulltime career station around there I'd imagine.

CFA's required to respond to calls within 6-8 minutes of being notified.
FRV (Fire Rescue Victoria) is a full time active stations across Victoria at major towns and Melbourne, they turn out in 120 seconds.
The CFA is a Volunteer base but FRV is a fully career base.

@@EmergencyServicesWestVictoria Dude, I know exactly what each service does. For the record the FRV turnout benchmark is 90 seconds, not 120 (do you just make this stuff up or do you just pretend that you know).
The Wendouree Brigade needs to be disbanded and replaced with fulltime career firefighters. Ones that will turn out on time, ones that are interested in ensuring community safety and ones that won't fritter away public funds on their running team drinking sessions.
It is an area that deserves full time coverage, anything less is a joke.

@@stanklaut7275 they’d have to drag the vollies out by their balls to get them out of that station no way they’d give it up

@@SCHULZE1 Community safety needs to be first and foremost. Who cares what anyone thinks?
A rapid, professional response is required. The safety of the community shouldn't revolve around a bunch of hobbyists and their feelings or sense of entitlement. Heavy industry, intense commercial centres and concentrated housing needs an appropriate response.

It's not appropriate indeed, but there was a career truck responded to the call at same time - P67B - thankfully which would have likely been there first. It was a very ordinary response, looked more like a social event, and doesn't do well for boundary reviews when FRV want to expand more into CFA area!!
