- Street Car takeover might have been rescheduled due to the rain Saturday, but the computer-generated streets of Dallas, Texas were alive and well!!! We raced Friday and Sunday nights to the early hours of the next mornings!!

The Coyote 5.0 engine seems like it was designed for the Roll Racing, especially boosted. Its very hard to beat. High RPM = crazy horsepower.

Man that paxton boss was waaay nastier than i expected, that car was built to cause hurt feelings.
I can tell the torque is the difference maker here from the hit. The centri 5.0s suffered against the PD blower cars. This is enough for me to consider installing a tvs on my 2018 5.0.
From what ive seen on the street in my area, VMP tvs setups are well worth it if you dont mind the cost.
I'm actually strongly considering their gen 3 tvs setup. I definitely don't mind the cost considering the gains I'll make. I was going to go with a paxton setup because I recently drove one, then another friend of mine let me drive his tvs and it was a no brainer for me lol. This video pretty much proves what I experienced. The instant torque is a killer when you can hook.
Ya that torque curve is killer and they make power all the way up, Theres a guy around here with a stage 3/6r80 car on 275 radials and hes took money from more than couple trailered 28x10.5 cars on the street
I had a 6r80 car and it ran really well with the circle d 5c torque converter. It was a fbo NA setup on drag radials that ran good for being NA, but was too slow for me. I wanted to supercharge it until I drove the new 10r80 in the 2018. I traded up obviously and I'd like to see how a tvs would run with this new transmission because the gears are fairly aggressive and it keeps you in the power curve on every shift.
I'm just doing a lot of research to find the perfect supercharger for this combination. I think a 275 radial, stage 3 tvs, and tuned with E-85 would be a really nice combination. I'm not looking to throw on all these boltons anymore.
Ya with a solid e85 tune you should be making good numbers even without the bolt ons

billy heaton probably good for a short while.. 7th gear is 1:1 and has the smallest planetary.. so if you are making good power you rely on 7th to do the pull and it's the weakest link.. 10r to 6r will be the next big conversion
