How The Ancient Magus' Bride Was Born: Talk Session with Author & Editor (Anime NYC 2023)

In this behind-the-scenes talk session, Kore Yamazaki, the author of the "The Ancient Magus' Bride" series, and her editor, Kyohei Shimpuku, walked us through how the series came to be. This is a rare opportunity to see the doujinshi (self-published manga) version and sketches of "The Ancient Magus' Bride" before being published!
They also covered how an manga editor discovers new talent, how manga artists and editors collaborate and how the initial idea was cultivated and then developed to become the worldwide anime hit we have today.
This panel is moderated by Zack Davisson. At the request of Yamazaki-sensei, her appearance is not shown in this video.
