Its crazy how levys chat always seems to find the worst possible move
One wonders how CZcams lost to twitch in sub battle. Handily too.
And yet somehow manages to win vs the youtube chat =/. My guess? stream chat has to bust a move right here and then. CZcams chat can pause and think for awhile!

At 41:59 Levy hilariously describes chess at 6-700. At 4-500, aka my beloved home, it's fucking insanity.
Your self awareness will surely help you improve 🙏🏽
Honestly I kinda miss it in a way. I'm 950 now and in the opening at 950 you never know whether your opponent is going to just play utterly ridiculous moves or like 8 moves of pure theory, and honestly I'm not sure which is more dangerous. At least at 500 you can rely on the games being consistently ridiculous.
Journey of levy completely losing it: from "nooOOo too slow" to "da-ma-gé"
and then 10 minutes of espanhol catalão.

This is less of a chess video and more of Levy flexing how many languages he speaks XD
I challenge him to speak proper Polish while playing Polish opening :)
lol
Really ? He did that less than a minute and he played 7 games in this video using various openings and explaining reasons behind each moves. And you still think otherwise. How ungrateful can one be *smh*
Ok levy speaking Spanish, his attempts at French, and singing Taylor just added 10 years to my lifespan

Your Spanish accent is sooo good. Greetings from the south of Spain! Me has enseñado una barbaridad de ajedrez, muchísimas gracias Levy!
As a catalan person, that part where you were trying to speak with a catalan accent was hilarious, so wrong, but still hilarious. For an amercian you speak a ton of languages though! Due to my grandma being german i speak 3 native languages (spanish, catalan and german). Plus I speak english and russian it would be nice if you made a video explaining where you learned spanish and russian. Do you speak hebrew too?
How does the Catalan accent sound like? To me every Spanish language sounds like Spanish XD
@@bykegetter478well it is really hard to explain, in Spanish there's only five vowel sounds and in Catalan there's like 7 or 8 so it already makes it sound very different... Though they are both written pretty similar like many other romance languages they just don't sound the same. When Catalans with a really strong accent speak Spanish we kinda sound like we are having a hard time even though we are native speakers, but it's hard to describe...

In cooking, a sauce is a liquid, cream, or semi-solid food, served on or used in preparing other foods. Most sauces are not normally consumed by themselves; they add flavor, moisture, and visual appeal to a dish. Sauce is a French word taken from the Latin salsa, meaning salted. Possibly the oldest recorded European sauce is garum, the fish sauce used by the Ancient Romans; while doubanjiang, the Chinese soy bean paste is mentioned in Rites of Zhou in the 3rd century BC.
Samosas accompanied by four sauces

Sauces need a liquid component. Sauces are an essential element in cuisines all over the world.
Sauces may be used for sweet or savory dishes. They may be prepared and served cold, like mayonnaise, prepared cold but served lukewarm like pesto, cooked and served warm like bechamel or cooked and served cold like apple sauce. They may be freshly prepared by the cook, especially in restaurants, but today many sauces are sold premade and packaged like Worcestershire sauce, HP Sauce, soy sauce or ketchup. Sauces for salad are called salad dressing. Sauces made by deglazing a pan are called pan sauces.

About learning Catalan at 600-700 range, I tried that. Basically what happens is you let something through early because you don't know how to keep the position solid after you're out of the opening five or so moves, opponent gets a knight in or a queen, trashes that entire side of the board before you can manage to evict it somehow. Usually it's a knight. Knight invasions were my least favorite thing to deal with at that level. Especially so with short time control as the catalan can produce positions in unskilled hands that open the door for a knight to repeatedly check you, no mate threat just check after annoying check, running down your clock.
"In American schools we are taught McDonalds recipes" hahaha

How can I compare lichess rating to chess.com rating?
Your chess.com rating is likely to be 300 points lower, lichess inflates ratings
Thx guys
They use slightly different rating algoritms, and also calibrated differently. Mathematically, you are not supposed to compare two different populations directly. That being said, if we wanna have a simple rule, we can look at the two average ratings. On lichess, it is 1500; on chesscom, I am not sure, but I believe it is 1200. So subtract 300 points from your lichess rating and there you go.
@@tahmeedchowdhury0007 "Inflating" implies an artifical increase to make the numbers look higher. This is not true, lichess just uses a different algorithm, where the standard level is defined at a higher number. It does not mean that the players on different sites are necessarily weaker/stronger. You can also define an algorithm where the standard rating is 9999, it does not matter, only the comparison between players of a single site does.
I didnt know that there would be this big difference in ratings between lichess and chess.com so one day I switched to chess.com after playing half a year only on lichess (1450 rating). I was totally devastated as my rating dropped even to under 1100, losing game after game, almost unable to beat people 1200+.... it was a painful experience.
now I'm close 1200 and am quite happy with it.
"U interested in Surfshark?"
