  • As promised a new smaller, easier butterfly wreath than my original butterfly made back in September 2018. You can see that video on my Facebook page. I hope this one is as confusing. The second time making this so I’m sure there will be updates as I try to perfect it.
    Supplies:
    Your choice in 10 or 12” mesh. I used 4 colors
    *Cut in 10x10” or 12”x10” about 20 pieces for the top and 20 pieces for the bottom
    *Cut 10 pieces to 6x6 or you can use the smaller roll
    Pipe cleaners
    Plastic grid
    Heart frame
    I used a wood burner but you can use a cutter
    Empty mesh roll and brown shipping paper for center (optional)
    Your imagination 😁

    You could wrap black felt around the roll instead of the glue and then use black pipe cleaner for the other part!

    I love the way you are doing the petals. May I make a suggestion to make it easier? Use a plastic close pin from dollar tree to hold the center of the first petal while you are making the second and then join the together removing the close pin.

      Patricia Sandlin are you referring to the flower with the rose center? I love that idea if so, I’m actually doing 2 of them right now😊

    • @patriciasandlin5352
      @patriciasandlin5352 Před 4 lety

      Actually I was referring to the butterfly where you stretch out the mesh and hold it in the middle until you do the next one.

    1 thing NO ONE tells you is,,,,,,, WHICH SIDE of the wreath do you attach the grid to as,,,,,,, ROLLED SIDE DOWN OR UP ?????? That would be helpful, I'm a newbie so ,,,, Can not tell because it APPEARS the same

    • @dazedandamazedcreationz389
      @dazedandamazedcreationz389  Před 4 lety

      Pamela Zandarski I apologize. That’s true, we all assume people know. The grind is attached to the back/ flatter side of the heart. I will make sure I show that for now on.

      Whew😂 I’m so happy it came out great!!! Make a little money😁. The more you do you’ll get more creative with it and put your own spin on it. I tried to see how pictures could be added because I’d love too see finished projects. I’ll research it further. Thanks for letting me know the tutorial worked out for you😊

    Will dollar tree mesh work?

    • @dazedandamazedcreationz389
      @dazedandamazedcreationz389  Před 4 lety +1

      Rachel Taylor I think of you use the dollar tree mesh the wings would not be large enough. It may work if you want a small version but for the bottom wings it may require more to fill it in. If you try it let me know
