I think the joke of Stolas being right across the table from his wife during her phone call is either:
A) he's used to her making threats and trying to kill him for having an affair on her with an imp.
or
B) he's just not paying attention cause if you see it again he's reading a book and Octavia is listening to her music so neither of them are focusing and he only looks up when he sees she's staring at him.
It's possible Stolas can see the future. His ability to read the stars and herbs, noted. So its possible he knows about these "attempts" and sets up in advance. So he's easily able to sidestep and brush off his wife's attempts on his life.
Or maybe he just didnt know she was talking about him, sure the “cheating prick” part can give it away but maybe he didnt pay attention in that part. They are royals in hell so Im pretty sure contracting killers is pretty normal

Imp is a hellborn demon with reddish skin, black and white horns, and a tail. They are typically short but Blitz and Striker stand out for being taller than normal.
I've also noticed that female Imps tend to have all black horns unlike the males that have the Black and white pattern

So Christine, imps in the Hazbin Hotel universe are small red skinned, hell-born demons, and have black and white horns. They are seen as the lowest class of people in hell and that’s why striker was impressed by Blitzø starting a business.

I think that because Milly has white lines on her calf that look like they've been made with claws, and we can see in the picture of the Blitzø's family in the IMP office that Blitzø didn't have a white spot on his face.

@@hex_gurl I'm skeptical about that because some characters have those white spots in their hair like you don't see it in this episode but in the other episodes when Millie wore her hair a little differently she has a couple white spots like right in the middle of her hair. Also while some of them do kind of look like scars I think it's mostly aesthetic because Milly's mom also has freckles. We saw blitz's arms this episode did he have some white marks where he got his arm shot in episode 1?
Not many people seems to notice but the rifle Striker was using is actually an angelic weapon which was exactly what Moxxie was talking about during his nerding out earlier in the episode. Thats also why he was able to recognize it and asked how did he get one.

If anyone was wondering what Millie’s mom meant when she said that blitz’s name reminds her of war, (don’t take this as fact, this is my best guess), she’s likely referring to the military tactic called “blitzkrieg” most notably used during WW2 , also known as “lightning war”

Well she said cheating so I don't think it would be a very big leap. He probably just wasn't paying attention because I feel like Stella orchestrating assassinations and screaming is just a standard part of family dinner at this point

Lust - Asmodeus
Envy - Leviathan
Wrath - Satan

To answer the question about Blitzo and some additional lore:
Basically there are 7 rings of hell, based off the seven deadly sins, this video obviously takes place in the Wrath Ring. Earthborn sinners can only be in the top ring, Pride. It’s implied that different types of natural demons are native different rings, like the succubi from episode 3 being native to lust. Anyway, it’s shown that imps are most likely originally from the Wrath ring, but a large majority of them “immigrated” to the pride ring. Since Blitzo says he’s never been to Wrath, it’s likely that his family moved from Wrath and he was born in Pride. That could have caused him to look different but that isn’t really known.
Also it’s implied that demons and sinners can only die from Angel weapons, which was what the gun was.
Also Vaggie's weapon is an angel weapon
I think that hellborn demons, like Imps, can die without Angelic weapons. Millie's mom said something about the last Pain Games ending in 15 funerals.

The term imp is for their general species, though the way they look is based on what ring they're from, like how all humans are the same but look different depending on where they were born
I don't think that's necessarily true as far as the looks go. Because striker is presumably from wrath but he has the same face shape as Blitzo and Moxie is, to the best of my knowledge, the only imp shown with inverted knees even though he too is from the wrath ring just like Millie and her family. Even in the crowd among the wrath ring imps there was a lot of different character designs.

To answer Christene's question about why Blitzo looks different from Moxxie and Milly is probably because they were just born in different rings of Hell. Like they stated, Mox and Mill are from the Wrath Ring, while in Blitzo was probably born somewhere else in hell. It all depends on what environment an imp is placed in.

The fact they got Norman Reedus to voice Striker was the biggest surprise!
A little bit of information. The rifle Striker was planning on using to assassinate Stolas is likely made out of a stolen weapon, left behind by the angels who would come down to the Pride Ring to slaughter as many sinners as possible. Either the entire rifle is made of one of those weapons, or just the bolts. Either way, these weapons are basically the only thing that can kill a demon sinners/overlords permanently, and I'd imagine they're powerful enough to also execute demon royalty like Stolas. In the hierarchy of hell, the royalty like Stolas are just below Charlie herself, but are on top of overlords, sinners, and then the Imps and Hellhounds, who are treated like scum, as they make much of the workforce and labor. Which also ties into the compliment Striker gave Blitzø about starting an entire business by himself, as Imps can't really thrive because of how they're treated by everyone else.
11:30 they are all called imps because that's their species, lowest in hell along with hellhounds (loona). It has nothing to do with their size but imps are considerably very small compared to all the other species in hell. Blitzo is from the pride ring (the top ring in hell and where helluva boss pilot and hazbin hotel takes place in) and Moxxie and Millie are from the Wrath ring (all 7 rings are named after the seven deadly sins).

Also I'm pretty sure due to Stella always yelling, Stolas just has selective hearing at this point. He was so absored by his "Imps in the sheets" book he doesn't even notice she was yelling or talking about him until he noticed her looking at him when going to bite his food.

I like how Moxxie calls almost everyone something like sir, mister, your highness, ect. The exceptions being Millie and I think Loona.
The reason Blitz was watching that horse is because he's obsesed with horses. Infact, his Voxtagram (in universe Instagram) has a number of posts related to horses.
Blitz is another imp, yeah. They're a species and there seems to be lots of variation among them. All they got in common is red skin, yellow eyes, black and white horns and devil tails. Moxie and Millie seem to be particularly small by imp standards
Fun fact: the lines on the imps horns tells their gender!

Okay so I think what it is with the imps is that as we know imps are the lowest tier of demon and I think that in each ring of hell the imps look different

Also for those who dont know the white glowing marks on fhe revolver were indicating that it was another demon killing weapon
If you go back to when Striker is about to shoot Stolas, Stolas looks straight at him
Stolas knew that his wife hired Striker. He didn't know that it was Striker specifically, but that is why he looked directly at the scope of the blessed rifle that Striker had. That is also why Stolas got Blitz to go to the festival, so he could find out who the hired assassin was and stop him. With the bonus of getting to see Blitz. Stolas's wife probably made the call hiring Striker at the table like she did in this video. She probably gave Striker the 2 blessed guns. One he lost to Blitz and the other he had at the motel. Also Stolas's reaction was basically him knowing that he would have to get Blitz involve again. He would have to make it seem like Blitz chose to come with him, instead of it being Stolas asking for a bodyguard.
Also Imp's are probably born in different areas or different rings altogether. Moxie said that he was born in the wrath ring but is clearly different from Millie and her parents. This would suggest that he is from a more ranged wepons/guns using area of the wrath ring while Millie and thus her family were born in the area that use brute strength and their hands/knifes. Blitz is not from the wrath ring as he said that he's never been there so he was born in a different ring, he was possibly born in Imp city.
Just my thoughts.

Some people think that striker is from the ring of envy based off the way he tried to convince blitzo to join him and the fact that his eyes and the snake sounds he makes whenever he moves around or talks. If this is true then strikers eyes and Snake sounds is a normal thing that the imps in the envy ring have. And maybe just maybe strikers clothes and the way he sounds like the wrath ring imps is just a costume and act to blend in.

Also the reason moxy was freaked out by the rifle was becuase it was an angelic weapon and only those can truly kill a demon regular weapons just temporarily stop demons the way they get them is when the extermination happens its pretty much the purge but angels come down to kill sinners and demons sometimes angelic weapons are dropped and demons smelt them down and make them into guns or just leave them like they were and sell them on the black market

To answer your question about Imps,
An Imp is a species of demon that is born in hell and I believe they are also the lowest in social standing or class? Moxxie might look slightly different than Blitzo just cause not all Imps seem to look the same (so basically just for character design lol) or it could be that Moxxie and Millie are from the same area while Blitzo is not.
Its crazy because Bosco plays millie's dad when he is also the VA for Alastor from Hazbin Hotel

Moxxie and Millie were born in the Wrath ring, Blitz was not, so that may be a reason why he doesn’t look like them. I personally have no idea where he is from. I have heard it may be the Pride ring, but it’s just rumors.
It feels very heavily implied that strikers from wrath since he's basically a cowboy and he looks like blitzo. Also even though Moxie was born in wrath he's the only named character with inverted knees. So I think that there's just a wide variety of body features among imp kind
Lil bit of lore: the sniper Striker has is fused with holy weapons left behind by angels during the exterminations. It's rare and sold at some sort of black market in hell and only high class demons like overlords and Royal demons has them so it was a surprise to Moxxie that striker has one.
Demons can't really die. Ex. If they get stabbed it'll just heal overtime. Angelic weapons are the only thing that can PERMANENTLY kill a demon. That's why it's so rare in Hell. Striker most Likely has multiple because Stella gave it to him to kill her husband.

I think that it’s because they are from different rings. In the episode Spring Broken it’s mentioned that Blitzo’s old flame, Verosika is from the Lust ring and here in this one Moxxy and Millie are said to be from the Wrath ring.
Its so sweet that Blitz likes horses!
I think the only criticism I have for this episode is the fact that everything is in hues of red and orange so its really difficult too see that glow under the door that compels Moxy to open it to investigate. A color that pops out more would have been better, like a yellowish white since its an angelic weapon, but then again most people seem to be able to see the red glow so its a minor nitpick.
I agree with the suspicion that Stolas CAN see the future somewhat. That he will be inviting Blitzo to things more often and need to be saved at some point in the event.
The only times we've seen him in danger, Blitzo was there by invitation.
Why all of a sudden take Octavia to Loo Loo Land AND invite Blitzo? She has not been 5 for a LONG time and yet when he does the only attack attempts are on him not the daughter for leverage.
Why put the charm on to convince Blitzo about checking out the Harvest Festival? Specifically saying it's the same every year. It just so happens this year someone was hired to kill him.
Seems a bit for a purpose.
For being royalty he HAS to be aware of cloak and dagger tactics by his kind. His wife has been extremely hostile to him for a long while at this point. I would think a plot against him would be an easy deduction to him.
Imps are the species of demon not a size classification.. Imps happen to also be part of the lowest section of Hells social hierarchy, which is why Strider said it was impressive Blitzo started his own business. It is also why during lulu land episode Stella mentions Stolas sleeping with an imp rather than just saying he cheated. A member of royalty sleeping with the lowest class would be more frowned upon than cheating within the royal class.

Blitz mentions briefly that his “employees” are from the Wrath circle - so I think Blitzo is from another circle (possibly the one with Loo Loo land in it, since he used to work there), but imps are all basically imps.
Imps are all essentially on the lowest social rung in hell too, and even a stronger imp like Striker or Blitzo is still considered beneath any other type of demon. Which is kinda why Blitzo has this “napoleon complex” attitude going on,and why it’s such a big deal for Stolas to break social norms and have an affair with him.
