It's not an adult joke or anything inappropriate at all. When he says "and then you can have the guy doing him right in the front" he is referring to the person off screen who is opening and closing a set of fake teeth in front of a camera. He's saying you can have that guy in the front of the car moving the teeth in the picture frame, which is on the trunk lid. That would give you snit, because snit is a set of moving fake teeth in a television screen. Phil recognizes his mistake in referencing the guy off screen right away and fumbles a bit.
These brief Zone cut-aways (aired in the minutes between shows) were broadcast live. You can tell much of the dialog was ad-libbed and very laid back. Here Phil got too laid back, and starting talking to Atul like they were friends off-set. In retrospect it wasn't intended a sexual reference, but it came out SOUNDING like one. Phil immediately realized it, so did the studio crew, and Snitt/Atul made it worse by pointing it out, "What do you mean 'Doing me', that's not very nice". Not sure if it was just good timing or done on purpose, but they cut away just 10 seconds later! I'm sure it went over the heads of most kids at the time, but I cracked up when I saw it live! (I was about Phil's age when I taped it).

Your friends were probably pulling your leg: The only other main, male Zone host between Phil and Carlos was Pat Kelly, who co-hosted The Zone from 1999-2001 and there was an extended period after he left the show where it was just Stephanie "Sugar" Beard hosting the segment before Carlos was introduced. While it's possible he left the show due to cursing on-air (I can't find any mention of his reasons for leaving), YTV didn't bring on a new hsot until almost a year after he left.

He was talking about some children's museum live on air and he absent-mindedly said something like "check it out, there'll probably be some really cool shit there". Luckily they only got one complaint and he didn't get in trouble for it lol
If he did that in America, there would be boycotts, complaints and "Concerned Parents" screaming bloody murder.......... but it was Canada and Canadians were like....heh.....and live went on without an incident :D

I used to re-use the same VHS tape over and over again each day, so the new recording would abruptly cut into the beginning of the old recording (depended how I queued the tape). I probably should've edited out when I put it up on CZcams years ago, but it's a piece of lost history now, so I'll just leave it as is. :)
