    Thank you for posting this video. I am adding a PTO driven pump on my tractor and I was trying to decide how to tap into the factory reservoir. You solved that problem for me. I will build a similar tank and mount it above the rear fenders to the ROPS as to not interfere with my 3 point hitch. Thanks again.

    I would be a good thing if you drop a good magnet in the oil reservoir
    it can save a lot of problem

    Doing something similar on my little JD755 because the hydraulics are only 130 bar when I tested and now I need more power and volume for various stuff. The hydraulic guy told me to make the tank at least twice the flow rate / minute of the pump to avoid overheating during operation. So if the tank looks a bit big it’s probably good.
    Well done nice job thanks for sharing.

    When it was mine, I made a ventilation hole in the top of the tank ! And dril out the filter adapter (there is one opstruction) ! 60 liters is a lot of oil ! Another Good video !

      Most important is that oil is not heating,on bottom of tank in magnet,but filter has to be there,hydraulic oil flow without problem,greeting

    Wonderful fitting information. Would you have an idea for pressure relief device! Maybe run oil through an open center valve only?

    Greetings Mladen ... Another well put together project, great eye for seeing what is needed and then to put it together ... I enjoy watching your videos , If i could perhaps offer you a small piece of insight, i know you have painted your tank but maybe look at putting a window or level gauge so you can monitor oil levels without having to open fill lid, every time and this will also keep oil clean for longer ... Keep up your great work ... greetings from Africa

      Good idea,i could also drill hole on that tank,one on bottom of tank and one hole in the middle of tank,insert clear plastic tube,it will also work,like your idea,next time il empty the tank,i will put that to see oil level,greetings

    Hi Mladen,
    thanks for your quick reply. So your pump is making around 1600 rpm I guess?
    I'm just asking because I'm thinking of making and placing a PTO pump also on my Kubota B7000. This to speed up my front end loader a bit. I have a 3 speed PTO selector so I can select 3 speeds on my PTO.
    What I would like to know is how fast on average the pump should spin so I do not break or damage it.

      Can't tell you that,we put this pump for manure spreader,log splitter,to power our corn harvester and for other things we need,i am sure that with this setup front loader will work faster and without problem,greeting

    You and your brothers are very hardworking and creative. Show more once you are using the new pump. We still have snow on the ground. You have beautiful green grass . When will you start planting?

    Nice! How you handled overpressure situations? Do you have pressure regulator built in the pump?

    Hi there
    Can you tell me how fast that pump is spinning? I guess your PTO is running at around 540 rpm. I would like to know what the rotation speed is after the gearbox.
    Thanks in advance! Like your videos and inventions a lot!

    • @Mladen365
      @Mladen365 Před 7 lety +1

      that gearbox ratio is 1 to 3,so PTO on tractor turn one time while hydraulic pump shaft turns 3 time

  • @littlejoeypeakdistrict7546

    Similar to how i run my log spliter from tractor ..but looking on your pump on the left hand side their is a breather should the breather not be at the top also dont you need a breather on your oil reservoir tank?

    • @Mladen365
      @Mladen365 Před 6 lety +1

      We gave mount it as manufacturer say,in manual it says pump can be mount on 3 position so we chose as we need,and on the reservoir we never screw tight that cap on top,it works perfect,oil is not heating,do you have video to see how your spliter works,greetings from Croatia

    • @Mladen365
      @Mladen365 Před 7 lety +1

      Gear ratio i 1-3,flow is 60l of oil in minute,our tractor hidraulic pump has only 20l per minute,we need something bigger so we made this and it works perfect,greeting

    • @Mladen365
      @Mladen365 Před 2 lety

      Gear ratio is 3 to 1,so if tractor pto turn at 500 rpm on big pump is 1500rpm
