Failover Doesn't Work When ISP Subscription Period Expires - MIKROTIK TUTORIAL [ENG SUB]

ISP subscription period has expired, and Failover doesn't work???
Failover is a mechanism where we have 2 internet paths, one as the main path and the other as a backup path. When the internet via the main line fails, either the provider's modem dies, or the provider's network dies, it will be passed through the backup route.
Then have you ever experienced failover not working because the ICMP connection can still work but you can't browse, usually there is isolated website information.
In this case, the internet will still be passed through the main line, so failover does not occur.
To overcome this, we can use the Netwatch feature in RouterOS version 7. In Netwatch version 7 there is an additional "type" parameter, which can function as a replacement for the check gateway found in the IP Route, in the type parameter you can later use http -get, https-get, icmp, simple and tcp-conn as checking protocols.

kedua isp harus punya ip publik kak buat dial vpn, buat 2 koneksi vpn juga kak ke ip publik A dan B, untuk jalur routing nya bisa anda gunakan distance 2 pada koneksi vpn backup ~ac

secara default MTU pada interface mikrotik adalah 1500, silahkan sesuaikan dengan perangkat yang anda pakai apakah support dengan MTU diatas 1500 atau tidak kak ~ac
