- Thanks to the new Occam's Statue trick in Goron City, the previously required Tektite Hover is now obsolete and all categories for this game are now considerably easier to speedrun. This is a showcase of the NG+ category which is now (in my opinion) the easiest speedrun across all 3D Zelda game categories.

I remember getting the master sword on the b button right when I started the master quest probably a month after the game came out and to this day I couldn’t figure out why it happened

I did the same thing, except it happened right when I became Adult Link. Crazy stuff.
I was running this game some years ago when the strat was still a wrong warp at goron dungeon, that's funny how optimized it is now

If you can bypass collision on the statue, Can you do a frame perfect backflip the second the web disappears as if it made the room think your in the room in a weird state so you can go through the door without having to 23 is 1 puzzle. 200 ( Making a first shieldless speedrun. )
if not is it possible to do a dive at an acute angle as if it was going to the " Bottom of the well " or king zora skip? 400
Would it be possible to get behind the door and fall into loading zone that gets you straight to the boss room. 600
Now the " FOR REALZ QUESTION " Can you do actor unloader to eliminate the RNG portion of the guards like your escaping the forest. as if there never any guards? 1000

3DS Capture Board. Capturing through NTR is discouraged for speedruns of this game since it allows loading to take less time between areas.

I'd love to know how you got farores wind on B. Cause for that you'd have to be able to put longshot on II as child which is not possible.
I've tried to find a way to get farores wind on b but i couldn't find anything anywhere.
look up a video on how to get Farores wind on b button I looked one up and followed the steps

Really wish there was more info on how to do this since I can't get it precise. Like when I'm loading the room, is there a cut off for how far I go or at what angle? I know I need to be precise with the Deku stick and I swear I've hit it perfectly, but I can't get it. Is there a time limit based on load?

I understand man.
Unfortunately a ton of speedruns just do something without really breaking down what they're doing so I have no idea how precise I need to be. This specific glitch I've been working on for over a week and the information I find online is scant at best. One of the issues is some people do it with the sword and others the stick.. there's just a lot that your average player isn't going to know without much insight...but I'm not giving up!! 🙂

Why is it “occam’s statue” not schrödinger’s statue? By unloading the collision you would have placed it in a super state where it both does and doesn’t exist making that a more apt comparison

What means NG+?
new game+ means that you can start a new file of a game with additional bonuses that are not available in a first playthrough. in this case,temporarily putting an item on B until the sword is equipped or you reload the save(exception is if you tempalter the b button with fishing/riding a horse). in the context of this game,the devs just forgot to set a command for stored b data(like sword when b button changes to fishing rod) to be cleared from memory when you quit the game and thus,a new save file will have that Item on b since there is no b button data to load in that case and as such,it uses the stored data.
one problem is that some items are completely useless like kokirisword as the item on b does not actually count as an equipped b item,just that you can use it. that means mido will cockblock you,even if you have mastersword on b and twerk on him like that
