she sounds so BEAUTIFUL..... her delivery is similar to whitney's.... i usually can't stand her upper belts as they are too STRIDENT for me..but she really controlled her delivery here..i wish she would be this delicate when she sings most times.....GREAT TALENT

Thanks for the vid. Those are some HUGE claims you making Tay. She is a very skilled vocalist but Whitney and Aretha?? I almost agreed with the "Deliverance being better than Mimi and Bey" but most similar gospel singers sing in this fashion. The placement of the voice is commonly in the throat and there is alot of vocal overstatement to show their connection to the lord.....I know, it's called being annointed but it's common. Bey used to do the same thing when singing gospel back in the day. However, different types of songs require different types of vocal showcases. Mariah is a pro at versitility with Bey not far behind. She is super good though....those A5's, transitions, headnotes were amazing.

🙄I use to wonder why she never made it, watching her videos now I know why, no control. She makes songs one continuous riff and run. So sad because she has a great voice. Wonder if she has ever had actual vocal coaching? Control was why Whitney was no#1.
No control? I think you may be confused. She definitely has vocal control which is what it takes to pull off the runs and rifts she does. Also this song isnt as structured as is the case with many gospel songs. She is just freestyling her adlibs

TayTay BeyNippy Yes :( But what did you think of the concert and vocals, since she didn't sound really in shape vocally (breath support and control wise), probably though because this was her first concert in over a year. I think Global Citizens will be better in that way. Props to her for doing Love On Top live though, and giving 3000% on the stage lol

She definitely has a very powerful colorful voice. She definitely not at a Whitney level nor Aretha. Tarralyn has always been pitchy... she can’t seem to stay in one place, it’s like she has to do the riffs, runs and growls. Also her annunciation is not perfect. She has a beautiful tone to her voice. She’s improved a lot, when she would go to the higher register I used to cringe, but now there was such beauty and control. I prefer Tarrayln to Jennifer Hudson. When Jennifer goes high it’s a mess. Now when I think of “ The Voice” AKA “ Whitney Houston you can see that Whitney was a very polished singer. In her prime, she just laid the vocals down. No pitchy stuff, she was the everything. Whitney’s tone, control, chest voice, vibrato is unbelievable and unmatched. But we know that Cissy laid down a foundation that allowed Whitney to perform even when she had no business being on stage. But I love me Tarralyn next to Aretha, Cece Winans, she one of the voices that moves me.

Because this is not a gospel video. This is a vocal showcase video of a gospel song. I could care less for religions or anything like that and a bunch of empty words that are just deemed wrong because people like yourself can't handle hearing them isn't in any way disrespectful.
