Iceland - A Winter Miracle 4K

Iceland in winter is an impressive mix of expansive, snowy landscapes, dancing northern lights in the dark sky and geothermal wonders that offer a particularly stark contrast in the cold season. The days are short, with only a few hours of daylight in December and January, giving the landscape a mystical charm. Although temperatures can be cold, they are often closer to freezing than in many other parts of the world at similar latitudes, thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream.
Iceland's nature shows a completely different side in winter. The waterfalls partially freeze over or are framed by snow and ice, giving them a fairytale look. The geysers and hot springs, such as the famous Blue Lagoon, stand in stark contrast to the cool air and offer unique opportunities for relaxation in nature.
