An entertaining Voith Enviro200 - Stagecoach 36997 YX63LHG

Not what I planned to ride when I went up here... but at least this was entertaining! This thing has the weirdest setup of any Voith E200 I've seen - it's useless moving off, then revs its tits off giving all the power it's got. (not like it has much power to give!) I rode another one that revved up immediately when it pulled off, but that was being driven even slower than this... ah well.
This bus was serving route 25 from Bradway to Woodhouse.

This problem has now been rectified, all the 62 plate and 63 plate had euro 6 mods but the wrong filters had been installed making them really slow, the exhaust place who installed the euro 6 mods come out and fitted the correct filters so now drive like a normal set up e200

You're not even that far off... some of Abellio's stop-start Voith things get stuck and won't get into 4th gear even going 40-odd mph! Or so I've heard...

Shouldnt this be 4 speed voith? Most modern vehicles use the 4 speed variant on Voiths.

Dunno to be honest. It never entered 4th gear on this trip, plus the 63reg ones I have down south are 3-speed, so that's what I went with.

Stagecoach started using 4 spd from 2014 on E200’s.

oilstutter 36997 was new in November 2013, so there’s a chance it could be 3-speed although I’m not sure

This is terrible for a bus made in 2013/14
