It's the reason why people remember this game. To avoid getting an M rating, they had to not animate any blood. They ironically maintained their T rating but the death scenes in result end up looking hilarious and you wonder how this is still appropriate :P

It actually scared the shit outta me first time I played 😂😂😂
You know this game would have been better by honoring Ian Malcolm’s butterfly effect or chaos theory by allowing the player to decide the character decisions and when or how they die or enable them to survive. That combined with these death scenes would have made the game a hit.
dilophosarus did not spit venom into the eyes of it's victims, but it did have a frill. it used it mainly for mating and frighting off other larger animals.

Somehow they always find a way to hide the "gory" scenes in this game AND in the movies. But every once and a while you see a death scene and you notice there isn't even blood or dismemberment In the game so why bother?

This one makes me laugh at the part when Oscar looking at the raptors behind boulder (backs behind it)

It was what was believed to be true at the time, but that was 21 years ago. It's interesting because in the journal, they attempt to fix these inaccuracies while still staying true to the movie, so any inaccuracies, like the Dilophosaurus being able to spit venom, was blamed on rushing and half assing the gene splicing when the dinos were being created.
The raptor that ran at 1:02 just took the seriousness out of it.
