    Made on of these years ago for my mother. She had suffered a stroke and was in a nursing home. She loved the card and would flip it over and over again and say love it love it. She had not spoken many words at the time so the card really made us all smile when we heard her speak.

      That's a heart feeling very special story.
      I never really paid much attention until recently how important these cards can become. Some may take an enormous amount of time such as, it took me 4 days to prepare a birthday card for my daughter. She has birthday in April, 2 months from now lol. I have never done anything alike. I used to spend hours trying to pick a card never make a card. Precious joy we forget to share sometimes, but this is one of the ways. :)

    I love these cards and have made quite a few. For anyone suffering from dementia these make great memory cards. As you open each fold it reveals a picture of family or friends, you can add their birthdays and other relevant information. I use them for my mother and they are a great help. Thanks Sam , so glad you have shown this again X

    Thank you for precise directions.. I get to make an interactive card for a card hop for this Saturday and I have been wanting to learn how to make this one and I just learned how to make it today and Now I think I have it down. One other gal failed to mention that the bottom tape side needs to go on the bottom once you flip it over. You actually gave precise directions on the taping part and I greatly thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Thanks for your tutorial! I did something just a bit different in the gluing together. I put my vertical piece back on my scoring guide and then carefully placed my horizontal piece. This made it so easy to get top and left to lineup. Repeated for next sheet by putting next vertical piece on scoring guide and laying 3 sheet combo onto it. My card is lined up and perfectly square.

    Again Love Your Card. Love the tutorial so smoothly put together and the results are to die for. Yours is the 5th video on Never Ending cards I've watched today. And the perfect one. Only takes two base sheets of cardstock. That's so much less than the one that used 4. I bought a cutting die to make these but not happy with the SMALL size in general for the card I wanted to make & was thinking 8x8 inch. Now that I see how well your 6x6 came out and fits in your hand I'm rethinking that it might be a better size fit for what I have in mind. An HP card. First up 9&3/4's brick wall to go through. Next tickets for Hogwarts. Mauraders map of course with surprise party for the two kids who's BD's are within a week of each other. Kids are in their 70's and super HP fans mind you. A couple who were sweeties in their high school years but married different partners and had children then years later in their 60's found each other as singles again and makes a great luv story doesn't it. Anyway also did enjoy your mirror stock. Just happens I have a bundle of it in various colors on hand and wondering how I'd get the most use out of it. Also I'm going to check your die cut font. I love your XO font. Thanks for the share just beautiful through and through.

    I did make this card using the 4x2 dimensions. My mats are 7/8 & DSP is 3/4. However, when I went to put it together I had directional paper & I guess I put on wrong cuz now it's upside down. When I flip it 1 way I see 2 panels instead of 2 squares. Oh well. I'll try it again!! It was very easy though. You can make 2 cards from 1 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper though. • @MixedUpCraft
      @MixedUpCraft  Před 5 lety

      I know a while back We R Memory Keepers had batches made with incorrect measurements and offered free stickers to replace the wrong ones, also I find I get much better precision but using the ruler measurement for the first initial punch and then I rotate my paper 180 degrees and do the same again and then for the other 2 sides I just line up the score lines. Check out my "How to use the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board" tutorial as I explain it all better there. :)

      Ok, just looked it up: it's a 9.5" square, score at 4 3/4. I find they fit better if you score one side, turn it 180*, score the absolute opposite side, then connect them. I don't know why it works better that way, but it does.
