- Back in March I had the opportunity to travel to Aberdeen, NC to perform at an amazing venue called The Neon Rooster. My buddy Brandon Steger of Calbren Media (who also filmed and edited this video) facilitated the trip, so we made it a point to shoot a few videos before I performed later that night. I'd like to thank Brandon for planning the trip (as well as shooting some incredible videos and photos) and for introducing me to Derrick Numbers, who owns and operates The Neon Rooster. "Dallas" is one of my favorite Alan Jackson tunes, and one of the hits that seems to be underplayed and underappreciated nowadays. It was written by Alan and his producer Keith Stegall, and was on the 1991 "Don't Rock the Jukebox" album. I hope you enjoy my rendition of it!
