You’re comparing NFL stats to college stats, nobody ever says how good AOC did with two OC’S his first year. If you trade AOC the Raiders will regret it down the road.

Getting rid of AOC after like 8-9 starts is WILD, considering the Raiders gave Carr 9 seasons. Give AOC a full season and then pass judgement. Build the OL and defense this draft.

Question what about QB Antony Brown Jr. from Ravens team backup QB for Lamar Jackson? He's lot more mobile QB than Farva AOC so why not give him a chance
from 3rd string to starter on a train wreck team ! AOC actually played very well . Remember as a 3rd string qb in training camp they really don't get many snaps. He played well in preseason and the guy is accurate he threw darts. As a young QB IMO gotten to keep him.
Anyway, they are drafting a O Tackle in round 1.

No. It’s too soon . You allow him to develop and build his value. He may show significant growth and have some other team offer a 3rd pick or at least a 4th round pick that we invested. Don’t trade him just to trade him.

Good teams build depth. Trading up for a QB will be a huge mistake. To me AOC has more value than ANY QB in this draft. You can't say he's not the answer after a 10 game sample. Stay put in the draft, build the trenches and let the best man win at QB

Mitch it’s too early to trade AOC…also consider AOC has been in the building working out since shortly after the season ended…you have to at least keep him 1 more year whether you get Daniels or not…Minschews contract does not guarantee him QB1…AP says he owes to AOC to have a competing for QB1…fact is you just don’t like AOC…

Yes if JD is drafted, you would need a different type of skill set than AOC. If it's Penix, I'd say keep AOC because he'd be a good fit in a system built for Penix.

AD is smart learns fast has a wonderful arm, doesn’t make to many bad decisions as a rookie, but in this league now day you need legs or you’ll be hurt like Joe Burrow every other year.
I think Tolesco has a history of keeping 3 QBs on the roster. So there's a possibility that they keep him.

I say if we draft a qb keep AOC still “IF” you plan on keeping him on the 53 man roster, but if the Raiders decide to make him a practice squad backup qb3 option, he will get plucked off the practice squad.
I don't think they're gonna draft either one of those guys but if they did, the guy they've got to trade his gardener just because of the cost.. AOC is cheap . you keep him on your roster . he's a fourth round draft pick, he doesn't make anything. That said I think their best bet is to build the best offensive and defensive lines in the NFL at this years draft and then, if we have to, next year go all in on a quarterback

I also believe that if we stay put and draft Penix or get him in RD 2 then Aiden and Minshew fight it out for QB 1 and Penix sits for at least a half of the season. In that case Aiden might stick around till his contract is up.
It makes no sense to trade Aoc UNLESS you get a 3rd round pick. Otherwise it makes absolutely no sense, even if they do draft a high end qb. Why? Because the Raiders WILL be carrying 3 qb's, which means Aoc's replacement will either cost draft capital that could be used elsewhere, OR it will require signing a free agent veteran who probably costs more in cap space than AOC costs, who also has no familiarity with the other players or coaches. So, why WOULD you trade AOC? Makes zero sense. What actually DOES make sense, is to be open to trading Minshew at the deadline, or next offseason. Minshew would prob have more trade value, AND it would open up considerable cap space. In fact, it occurred to me when we signed Minshew, that that possibility was in part WHY they signed him, knowing they had AOC on cheap, and Minshew had trade value.
Gonna be funny when he's still on the roster this season. Lol

If we end up with Pennix or Daniels then we will have Minshew and a very valuable rookie... And will have spent a ton to get that rook. We will need the capital that AOC represents. Roster slot, whatever we can get in trade... AOC would become a commodity that we can't afford.
Truthfully ,I would be totally disappointed if the Raiders mortgage their future on an unproven player. Al Davis would be turning over in his grave if we did that. Did anyone see what I saw. A rookie came in and gave it his all and almost got us in the playoffs. Yes, he made mistakes,but that's what rookies do. If he had a better O line, I believe he would've done better. What's wrong with a QB back that's a pocket passer that can make every throw. Give the kid another year to learn and develop. Getting rid of him is so premature,and it's gonna come back and bite you. Oh and on Minshew ,he reminds me so much of a journeyman QB called Rich Gannon. Be smart and build the O LINE ,and secondary.

I think the only way Aiden gets traded is if we land Jayden Daniels and if we do i hope we do trade him because i feel he can be a good starting QB and if not with us then trade him to the NFC . We do not want him kicking our ass every year.

The problem with Pennix is that he is 1 NFL level hit away from being injured, again. I'm not saying don't get him, but if you do I think it would be wise to hang on to AOC and Minshew 'cause dude is fragile...
I could see them trading Aidan if they draft JD, he could even be part of a trade package. But if they get Penix I could see them keeping him a little longer for insurance just in case anyone has any health concerns about Penix

We can’t take Penix in round 1. He has two devastating injuries that ended seasons. Plus the injuries were in different areas. Raiders would be fools to take that chance in round1. Round two is pushing it but round 3 for Penix would ideal. We can’t miss any more in round 1.
