- This video is dedicated to all the beautiful people who made my Iowa State journey a wonderful experience. Thank you to each and every one of you.
To commemorate this great milestone, I bring to you my third attempt at video production. Spent much longer on this one than the previous two and definitely got me more comfortable with the idea of amateur cinematography. Experimented with special effects as well.
1:35 First video on CZcams with a growing building effect on a clip with a changing camera angle.
Definitely gonna be improving on vfx in the next few videos.
An aerial drone tour of Iowa State University's campus and significant buildings. My last semester at ISU (Fall 2018) had me running around campus trying to get the perfect shots for this video, checking the weather forecast on a weekly basis and waiting for the right moment to shoot.
I hope this video brings as much joy to everyone as it did bring me and hope I can help future Cyclones realize why ISU is the best place to be!
Shot in the mavic air's D-Cinelike log profile.
Software:
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018
Adobe After Effects CC 2018
Adobe Media Encoder CC 2018
Gear used:
DJI Mavic Air + variety of ND/PL filters

Love this video, remind and refresh my Cyclone-day memory.
I am so glad I get to call this place my home! 😍😍
Haha represent! Enjoy the campus to the fullest, Brant!
A lovely video!
Too many years have passed since I've seen the campus. Wow, I hardly recognize the place! Such impressive expansion while still retaining its beautifully historical buildings. A wonderful pallet of people, place and opportunity. Bravo ISU!
Beautiful! The dusting of snow on top of the fall colors on the trees were my favorite, but there were a lot of breathtaking scenes!
Right? It was that one freak day in early November when it began to snow, and I knew I had to risk the life of my drone for the high altitude shots! Glad it survived, haha.
Bahut acha!
Simply awesome! You can tell lots of time, planning and effort was put into this project... excellent work. Thanks for sharing. Keep going Nemeer 👍
Haha it sure was, Fawazka! Lots of patience and planning was needed while filming and editing! Thank you!

Beautifully done. Makes one feel like you are right there. Looking forward to more of your talented work.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
That morrill hall shot just hurts knowing how much rotoscoping you had to do. Amazing job!
All in the frame by frame miniscule details haha. Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
An awesome short film reminding me those good days at ISU as an early international graduate student with its MBA program (1980~1981) 👍❤🍁 Lawrence Luh from Taiwan🇹🇼

Glad you enjoyed it, Mokhtar! Unexpectedly leaving the apartment to run around campus during all those weekends kinda paid off haha
Hi Nemeer, good job. Keep it up!
Can u do a similar video on thrissur?
Haha yes, will try!
Great video! How did you get approval to fly your drone on campus? I was thinking of taking some shots on campus but not sure if it's worth the hassle.
Thank you!
I reached out to ISU Facilities Planning and Management. They issued me the UAS approval.
It's definitely worth the hassle cause this isn't just a regular college campus haha
Amazing
Thanks, Aaryaman! It was great that you could join me during one of the shoot days!
How to make like in minute 1:40, would you give us tutorial please😻
Amazing video and an even awesome music score. I am considering sending my son to Iowa for under grad. How is the Engineering faculty there? You should upload more videos often.
Hey! Thanks for you kind words!
One of the greatest things about the engineering college is how accessible all the professors were! They were always open to a quick informal chat that used to go on a tangent on an engineering problem of the day. He will definitely enjoy it there! All the best!
@@nemeer Would you be kind enough to let me know what music score did you use? I would like to download it, if it is available online.
@@sachinshimoga1976 You can find it listed in the end credits at 3:45 :)
God I miss my old School so much I want to obliviate it with a million artilleries.
