Reis, Rargef's team mate from LNDs, Xilonha, just shared a story that happened during LAIC in his last CZcams video. He said that Rargef's personal phone got stolen minutes before his 1st match, so he wasn't able to log into his account because of the 2 factor authentication. So he asked the organization for more time and they moved his 1st match, he went back to the Airbnb where he luckly had an old phone with his account logged. He ran back to the event and was able to get there in time for the 1st match. Imagine how his psychology was after that situation. And imagine if he didn't have another phone with his account logged, maybe he wouldn't be able to play at all! Crazy stuff

Loved the analysis, I was in that crowd cheering for my lnds friends, rargef is probably the best player in the world, he put so much effort on building teams and mons also his games was so fun to watch two friends battling and have such a great time
I was there and the vibe was awesome. Rargef is the greatest player ever in Brazil, recently he destroyed me in the semifinals of a prep tournament with a togetic lol
And those GBLindos guys are crazy, singing all the time to cheer their friends. Their union and friendship is beautiful.
It was epic.
I enjoy the analysis. I frankly miss the old days of dipping out to PvPoke for the really deep analysis. (Not trolling. Seriously. I always learned something new)

Yes so typically when you switch out a pokémon it takes 1 turn or 0.5 seconds to execute the switch. However if you queue a switch after throwing a charge move it normally gives a 0 turn switch where you are able to switch instantaneously.
@@Reis2TheOccasion awesome that makes sense. So with that logic regarding that a switch usually takes 1 turn, I guess that’s why it’s hard to prevent the snipe too correct? Because while the Swampert was throwing it’s 2 turn mudshot, medicham came in on 1 turn, and got the charge move on another 1 turn. Which means Swampert couldn’t even throw hydro or swap out in time because the mudshot was not done yet?
Most streamers put the camera in a corner of the screen but Reis is a Gigachad and puts himself right in the middle

Is there anyway to prevent the snipe @39:43? When Rargef clicks the swap out button to Medicham, Trickzinn is clicking the screen for a mudshot, and at the time when Medicham taps for the charge move, couldn't Trickzinn either throw a hydrocannon, or tap carbink to catch the ice punch? Or did Trickzinn overtap and through another mudshot?

There's no way to stop that unless you guess when Rargef was gonna swap or react to Medi coming in within 0.5 seconds

Man this game needs an update ASAP, this Medicham meta needs to end. Counter needs a nerf for sure.

@@Ericcssonn Registeel basically was nerfed with all of the ground moves and new ground meta pokemons. You dont see as many now, and im not saying to destroy counter, but at least less energy gain would be good (at least one more fast move). Lickitung is fine right now is not OP is just a great safe swap.

You make Counter worse and Regi is back. Licki-Regi-Umbreon Teams yaay..(not). No Fast Move pressure into that cause Counter was nerfed.
Counter is fine. You also hurt other Fighters.
Buff a ghost or two and Medi drops in usage...
Heres a quick one: Brutal Swing for Runerigus.
Another one: Release Mimikyu in PvP ready state. No Astonish-Double Nuke Nerf Release. Release it in "good" condition.
Rework Alolan Marowak a bit.. Buff Bone Club or add a Midsize Firemove.
Tada. Three excellent Mons with very strong play into Medicham.
There is no need to nerf Counter.
It just buffs steel, dark and normal when you do that. It hurts Fighters not called Medicham.
Just make a few updates/reworks and Medi usage drops...

People don’t realize how easy it is to cheat in these small pokemon tournis. Its nothing like counterstrike budget wise. You can easily get a pinch machine or small earpiece for example
